  • TTCers:

Cycle/Month: Technically 5/5...but the first three of those months one of us was away during the specific time we kind of need to be together haha

    CD/DPO: 16...hopefully O today or tomorrow!

    W2O or 2WW? W2O i guess :)

Testing plans: I will try to wait until my period is due (12DPO) we shall see!!!

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts: The guafanicin thing- i have been sick ALL WEEK and taking guafinicin for cough related purposes....and I def. noticed more CM! I usually get EWCM two or three days before O, and only for a day or two...well since taking it it had been more...noticeable...throughout the day.

ALSO-I was stressing my self out about the whole TTC thing, I said I was going to just bang it out and see what happens...but im a scientist so i was charting etc. because it does really fascinate me. BUT I stopped...this month we are just going to go about our bussiness and see what happens. my temps are really straight forward (96s before, 97s afterO) so Ill just take my temp to see if it's up around CD 22 to make sure i've O'd and can take a test by CD 32-34 if no period by then...

ALSO! watched the great sperm race with DH on youtube...HILARIOUS and informative. I can't stop thinking of those sperm climbing ladders through my lady parts right now. hahahah

And, i know this is a long post, sorry, but I've only told two friends we are TTC, one of which was going to start trying in July like us...and she just told me she's pregnant and due in April...little jealous, not going to lie. thanks for letting me vent :)

  • GL @linnae939! I find charting to be fascinating too. Thanks for the first hand experience on the CM and drugs correlation....even though it was for legit reasons! It's great to be able to talk openly about TTC here when you don't really IRL.

  • How many weeks: 24w 4d

How are you feeling? Pretty good except I've been getting Charlie horses in my calves at night!!! Ouch!! DH and I see a nutritionist and I saw her last night. I've gained 4lbs since last visit (4-5 weeks ago) which is good because I didn't gain any the previous 4 weeks. I never thought weight gain would be a struggle for me in pregnancy! I'm content with my gaining so far and don't want to gain too much but the nutritionist wants me more at the 25-35 range for the pregnancy, even though I started out overweight. I've gained about 13lbs so far.

Rants/Thoughts/Bump pics? My big thought this week is on viability. If I delivered this week, my baby would have a 50% chance of surviving. It's a morbid thought, but since I work with preemies in the NICU, I cannot help having it. I'll feel even better when I get out of this trimester though!

@mbuckley85 if you can when the Charlie horse presents itself, standup right away and it will stop....I know it's hard to get out of bed pregnant but it worked for me!

  • TTCers:

    Cycle/Month: 3

    CD/DPO: CD 24, 2 or 3 DPO (long cycles)

    W2O or 2WW? 2WW

Testing plans:  Probably in a week or so.

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts:  I got positive OPK's for like 3 days in a row, starting with Saturday night.  Tuesday was the very darkest, but they were literally all positive.

      Charting is HARD!!

With the green tea/CM talk, I was like eh I'll just drink it every night until I O!

H has cut out soda because he's gained a few pounds, and I haven't made sweet tea for him yet. So he's like pour me some green tea, I'm like NO I don't have enough! (I need to start getting the gallon instead of the half gallons). I'm like it's helping us make baby H... so we're laughing and I pour him a glass, then I'm like actually I think it'll help your swimmers too! So now he's all about the green tea... might need to get 2 gallons now.

Haha at least he is on board!! I found some TJs mango green tea mix at work and had two cups yesterday. It wasn't terrible. Haha I might have to go buy some since that will get depleted quickly.
