WIJFR: Throne of Glass (ns)
So good! Great character development and a fun story. With the exception of the main character's initial arrogance, it didn't feel at all like YA.
It reminded me a bit of Seven Realms. I recommend it!

@lauren620, I get why you put it down. I thought the beginning was really weak. I probably wouldn't have continued either had I not followed SJM's blog for a long time and wanted to support her, but I was so glad I stuck with it because when it got good, I was obsessed.

@j*&p* I usually dislike series novellas because they either A. don't add anything to the story or B. they add too much and are referenced in the next book. If you don't read the novella first, it's very confusing. The ToG novella I read yesterday was great! It was like a mini-novel that added to character development and had its own plot. THIS is what series novellas should all be. I'm hesitant to pickup book 2, because it's such a long wait for book 3.
