Unfortunately this is me. I love baking but can't cook. I try so hard but I think my lack of sense of smell inhibits me on some accounts. I always yell at myself that I should know better.
@sassypants527, that super sucks. I'm irrationally paranoid it's me but I don't think it is. My elf sent me a message saying that she sent it out last Friday but I haven't received it yet but we've been in contact - if it doesn't come today, she said she'd look up tracking. I'm sure you're an awesome elf which makes me even MORE mad that nobody said anything. This kind of stuff ruin exchanges.
Earlier this month DH and I were at the mall and ran into BIL buying an engagement ring (completely randomly!). My reaction was such that the salesman thought I was the girl BIL would be proposing to (think jumping, clapping, and squealing in the middle of the store).
I was going to post that a couple of weeks ago but you never know who's lurking and if I were to have ruined that surprise I would never have forgiven myself, but he proposed last night (on soon-to-be SIL's favorite holiday!), so it's safe now!

Yup! I sent her the heir chronicles signed and a month or two later after I had reached out to her many times, got a quick 'thanks for the package' message through elfster. This is why I don't participate in exchanges anymore. I've also blocked her so I don't have to see her posts because it pissed me off so much.
