Happy Friday!! What are you reading?
How do you like it do far? Is it for any of the challenges or just fun?
November already?! Anything in particular that you're looking forward to this month?
Friday, December 28 2012. The day I had emergency appendix surgery in Mexico and quit smoking. Proof that everything has a good side!! DH and I are happily child-free!! No due date or toddler tickers here!!

Re: Happy Friday!! What are you reading?
I'm still reading Allegiant. I had some library items that needed to be finished before I could give it my full attention. I should finish it this weekend.
I'm also reading BDB#2 and enjoying it so far.
I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday of the year. My husband has the day off but all of his employees have to go in so we make them a full Thanksgiving dinner and bring it to them to thank them for all the work they do and for having to be away from their families on that day.
I'm reading the new Nora Roberts, which is good so far. I'm listening to Bertie Plays the Blues, which is from the always enjoyable Alexander McCall Smith.
I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving!

I love that it's getting colder, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, it's almost Christmas, and I'm going Black Friday shopping for the first time! Gotta get lots of toys this year!!
I'm reading:
Allegiant - Veronica Roth
The Story of Edgar Sawtelle - David Wroblewski
Some of my Best Friends are Black: The Strange Story of Integration in America - Tanner Colby
Edgar and the Colby book are slow for me but I'm really enjoying them. I'm only on page 40 of Allegiant but I feel like there's already too many names.
For November, I'm looking forward to NaNoWriMo, the Lions game on Thanksgiving, and my HP marathon tomorrow.
my read shelf:
I'm probably finishing up Allegiant today. It's #56 for the year. No opinion yet. I don't love it and I don't hate it. That may change. I'm not bored by it.
They will be 90 and 91 for the year.
I should be looking forward to Thanksgiving. I'm not though because of the drama my MIL and SIL cause. Boo to them for zapping the holiday spirit out of this time of year.

Edit: I'm looking forward to my DC trip next week. I'll be interviewing a 93 year old woman who was a member of the WASP during WWII. I'm also looking forward to the weather getting colder and being able to wear my sweaters and boots, and also to Thanksgiving, which is a nice, non-commercial holiday.
Reading Me Before You - it's wonderful.
Listening to Incarceron - pretty cool so far, but reading would probably be better than listening. Each chapter starts with a little intro passage and I get all confused thinking that intro is part of the story. In book form, it would probably be obvious because the intro would be tabbed or in italics or something.
I just need to edit because I just finished Me Before You and I no longer think it is wonderful. I did not like it after all. Please visit my blog The Party Hostess
My read shelf:

Reading The Golem and the Jinni and it's getting really good!
Just began Sabriel, by Garth Nix. I'm enjoying it more than Seven Realms so far but it's early.
November is my birthday month and I love Thanksgiving. My Grandma is holding it again this year and she hasn't met my youngest yet.
Izzy and Baby A ~ Adorable Punks
This morning, I finished listening to The Demon King. I think 3 stars because it took me some time to get into, and I was sort of disappointed with the ending. I know it's a series, but I think series books should be able to stand alone and this was totally anti-climactic. I'm definitely going to keep going with this series, though.
I'm picking up The Shining on audio this afternoon.
TDK was number 25 for the year. No challenges and no goal, though.
Sugar & Spice
I'm reading Neverwhere and to be honest, I'm not really liking it. I feel like I'm missing something. I can't figure out what is going on. It's #53 for the year.
I'm looking forward to my birthday this month. I have the day off of work and I am eating out for every single meal. No cooking or cleaning for a whole day!!!
BFP 1/8/11 - U/S 2/24/11 (11wks) no heartbeat measuring 6w1d - D&C 2/28/11
I am reading Meet Me in Venice by Elizabeth Adler and Allegiant right now. I am really enjoying both of them and have a hard time deciding which one to pick up when I have a few minutes to read.
This month I am looking forward to our son's 13th birthday on the 17th! I don't know where the time has gone and can't believe I'm going to be a mom of a teenager soon! Also, looking forward to finishing school for this term at the end of the month.
November is my least favorite month so I'm looking forward to it being over.

Then I can finally get to Seraphina!
I am so looking forward to Thanksgiving. I love this time of year!!! And I'm looking forward to crafting an ornament for the craft exchange, even if I end up the only one sending one out (though I hope no one flakes out).
I can't wait to decorate after Thanksgiving! On Thanksgiving night my husband and I put together Winter Village sets from Lego. I love that.
Ok, so I'm looking forward to a lot.
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”
