I think that there are some people in the world who just shouldn't be parents. If you can't take care of yourself physically/emotionally, then you don't need another living breathing being to take care of. Unfortunately it seems that these people are fertile myrtles... Note that I am exclusively talking about people like drug addicts, or other people who abuse their body regularly. I don't believe parenting ability has anything to do with being rich or poor. I have just seen so many kids in my line of work who are essentially thrown away because their parents don't give 2 cents enough to take care of them and when you meet their parents you can very clearly understand why, because if you don't even take care of yourself, why would you take care of someone else...

I guess I have one.

I hate when grown ass men play video games for hours at a time. DH has a PS3 and has literally played it maybe 2 hours total since having it. If he played it for hours after getting home from work or something we wouldn't be together.

This drives me NUTS! We don't even own a game system, H thinks they're boring. We have friends that will play for hours and hours on end.

I guess I should add that DH doesn't own any of those dumb black ops games or whatever they are. He has a football game that's it. Lol.

I think DH just wants to own gaming systems to say he has them :-/ lol

I don't think it's cute to have your baby completely nude for photo shoots. The diaper should stay on or at least the bottom area should be covered.

I saw a picture of a baby girl nude laying on her belly with her butt up in the air and it was disturbing to me because I've seen pictures of nude women in that pose and it just looks more pornographic than cute and innocent.

I just don't feel like they really clean the dishes right. I rather do it once and be done with it. I think it's really stupid to have to rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.

@pistolpackinmomma, we currently have one in the apartment we live in but after we purchase a house I'll still be putting one in (if it doesn't already come with one) just because a kitchen doesn't look complete without one. Lol.

I'm just not a fan of them :-/

I don't like it when grown-ups kiss their kids on the mouth. It just seems weird to me. I know it doesn't mean anything bad. Maybe it's because my parents never did that.

@sushi, my dad always kissed me in the mouth when I was growing up (so gross, :-& ) and thinking back on it, it grosses me out so bad. I don't think it's a bad thing either but I told DH that I never wanted to see him kiss LO on the mouth because to me having my dad kiss me in the mouth growing up was disgusting and disturbing.

I guess what I'm saying is that I agree that it's weird to me too and my parents (just my dad) did do it.

I will probably be the odd one out here, but I love video games and DH and I fight over who gets to play :-p Though I have been playing a lot less lately. And Call of Duty is totally my favorite game!

I don't like naked baby pictures either. Or the pics the moms taken with their kids where they both look naked. No thank you.

Well, I guess I'm the odd one out, because I like baby butt pictures. SO cute. No junk shots or anything, but a properly done baby butt picture can be absolutely adorable.

The only video game DH and I would probably fight about who goes first is Super Mario. Ooh now I want to play Super Mario.

The last time I played a video game was years ago and it was Animal Crossing on the Game Cube. Lol.

I am the person who was totally weird about kissing on the mouth until LO got big enough to give out kisses and she kisses DH and I on the mouth. We encourage her to kiss on the cheek especially with her friends and other family members. We also make big kissy lips and she comes up and gives a quick peck so it doesn't feel weird.

I definitely thought it was something we wouldn't do because we were both a little weirded out by it but when your kid is giving out kisses you take them however you can. I guess that is the difference though....she gives us kisses on the mouth not the other way around so when she no longer feels comfortable with it she will stop and it won't be a thing anymore.

I love playing video games. Actually, i have the 1986 Super Nintendo and a Wii. DH has an Xbox 360 and plays video games once to twice a week for a few hours. Its his getaway, and I only get mad at him if he takes too long so I can play ;-)

Sometimes it's easier for me to just wash them by hand. Otherwise I have to try to load and unload with a toddler trying to play with the soap door, grab the silverware, spin the top wash spin thingy and so forth. Otherwise, I used to use ours all the time.

wiggyslilsis I agree with you on this. DS tries to only kiss on the mouth. We try to encourage kissing on the cheek especially with his friends, but it doesn't always work so hopefully he'll just grow out of it. I think my biggest thing about this is cold sores and spreading germs that worries me. Even if we can't prevent everything.

I've always felt bad that I don't like it when DD tries to kiss me on the lips and always turn to my cheek and kiss her on the cheek. It was ok when she was little, but now she's bigger. I hope I don't hurt her feelings when I turn my cheek. However if I did, she's definitely one that would say something and I'd explain and she'd get it.

@ream02 I kinda get what you are saying with your older daughter. I turn my cheek for my 3 yo niece and 6yo nephew. They aren't growing out of it because SIL encourages them to kiss everybody on the lips. I hope I don't hurt their feelings but it makes me very uncomfortable.

@wiggslilsis I think it makes me uncomfortable because I had a uncle when we were younger and still tries to always kiss on the lips. It's always grossed me out and stuck with me.
