  • LuckyAngel07 So nice to know she survived! lol.

They will actually let me try for a vaginal delivery as long as baby A (the one closer to the exit) is larger or the same size as baby B AND baby A is head down.  I'm really hoping I don't need a c section but the odds are stacked against me.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!! My sister came first, and she was both head down AND bigger than me! I've always been the rebel, apparently, lol!

QOTW - With the holidays coming up, are you doing anything special for your LO to commemorate being pg this year?  I might buy us an "Expecting" ornament that's personalized or something like that.  Then again, I'm sure my mom will get us one.  Other than that, I don't think we'll do anything special.
I didn't even know there was such a thing as an ornament for expecting mommies! Gonna need to find that for sure!
My friend got me one last year. It was a pregnant snowman :)

    For Mommies-to-be:

How many weeks are you? 32w5d

    When is your EDD? 1/1/2014

How are you feeling? Tired and uncomfortable, but other than that, okay. I feel like I'm about to hit that "wall" everyone talks about, though... I am just so tired of being pregnant.

    What are you craving? Nothing.

What is grossing you out? Nothing. ETA: Oooh, I just realized there is one thing that is totally grossing me out lately... I'm not a slasher-flick kinda gal even when not pregnant, but anything gross/gory on movies/TV makes me sick to my stomach. Like, even more so than normal. We were watching the first episode of Game of Thrones the other day, and there were some scenes that would normally not bug me, but I had to turn away because I felt myself getting sick over watching them.

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? We bought the pack n play on Saturday and set it up on Sunday.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? My next appointment is November 19th.

Have you / will you found out the sex? It's a girl.

Any names picked out? Elle Rose

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? It's a huge mess. Seriously.

Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Not today.

QOTW - With the holidays coming up, are you doing anything special for your LO to commemorate being pg this year? Ever since we got married, we get an ornament that signifies things that happened that year, so I will most likely get pregnancy ornament.

  • Best part of your week? Having 6 days off to spend with L and DH

Worst part of your week? L did not adjust well to Daylight Savings time. Sleep has been rough. :(

Milestones? He can army crawl, pull to standing and cruise on the furniture.

QOTW - What item would you recommend everyone have on their baby registry? Probably the A&A blankets. They are our most-used blankets, by far, and L naps with them now too.

QOTW - What item would you recommend everyone have on their baby registry? A good video monitor.  We love ours and even if you don't think you need one they are so nice to have to be able to check on the kids without disturbing them or checking to see if they are fussing because they actually need help or for some other reason.

I completely agree with this!!! Arthur's bedroom is very close to ours and we don't need it for the sound. We hear every sound he makes. But to be able to see if you really need to go in there or not, it's great!

  • For Mommies-to-be:

How many weeks are you?  I think I am 23w4d

When is your EDD?  March 6, 2014

How are you feeling? Good for the most part. We had a busy weekend and I am exhausted today but other than that, good!

    What are you craving? Nothing

What is grossing you out? Eggs, raw meat, dirty dishes, toothpaste

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately?  My aunt added some fun baby stuff to our birthday presents that we got yesterday. I got an elephant kids game and R got a cars book and cute "handsome like daddy" outfit.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments?  My last appointment was on Nov 5th. My next one is Dec 3 then we go to every other week appointments. She started measuring my fundal height. I measured 20.5cm at 22.5 weeks but she didn't seem concerned.

Have you / will you found out the sex?  It's a boy!

Any names picked out? His name is Evan Robert

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? We are doing aqua, grey and white with an elephant theme. We have cleaned out the room and painting has begun!

Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Nope!

QOTW - With the holidays coming up, are you doing anything special for your LO to commemorate being pg this year? When we went on our honeymoon to Disney, we bought ourselves really nice Mickey and Minnie stockings. My sis is going right before Christmas and we've asked her to pick up a Disney stocking for baby. We might put some little toys or something in it this year for fun!
Congrats to my TTC buddy Madeline! Cheering for all the strong 3T ladies!

  • Best part: DH took a day off work so it was nice to have the extra time with him at home.

Worst: Still having issues with E waking frequently in the night.

Milestones: Evis getting braver about letting go

One thing you need on your registry: wrap carrier. I loved my Boba wrap so much!

I could hold you for a million years

  • Best part: We took her to a wedding and just seeing her take everything in was amazing!  She loved watching all the kids on the dance floor

Worst: She's still a little stuffed up so I moved her from her crib back to the RNP ... ugh

Milestones: Reaching and grabbing for everything!

One thing you need on your registry: I agree with PP ... A&A blankets are a must and the zip up sleepers .... so much easier at 3AM!

  • For Mommies-to-be:

How many weeks are you? 7 weeks

When is your EDD? I'm still saying June 28-29, 2014 but we will find out next week I hope!

How are you feeling? Ehh...I got a flu shot last week and now I'm having a reaction or in general getting sick. It sucks. Dealing with no voice and a sneezy, runny, stuffy nose along with nausea hasn't been fun. I also vomited for the first time this morning...wee!

What are you craving? Nothing in particular

What is grossing you out? Nothing really right now

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? No

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Had our intake appointment today (posted in another thread) and our dating ultrasound is next Wednesday. We can't wait!

Have you / will you found out the sex? We will

    Any names picked out? Yes.

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? Haven't really thought about it much this week

Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Nope

QOTW - With the holidays coming up, are you doing anything special for your LO to commemorate being pg this year? I was thinking of buying a shirt that says, "Our Christmas present came early" with an arrow pointing at my belly to wear around the holidays but I don't know if I will or not. Plus we'll be revealing to the world on Thanksgiving day

  • @littlelady77 We had a Summer infant video monitor when DD was an infant and it worked ok but had a lot of static.  Then when we were pregnant with Zack we wanted one that we had a capability of adding another camera so we could put one in each kids room and got this Motorola one with an extra camera
    http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-MBP36-Wireless-3-5-Inch-Infrared/dp/B004VL2VRO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1384207676&sr=8-2&keywords=motorola+baby+monitor

I love that you can move either camera from the base unit, it switches automatically between the two cameras or you can choose just to monitor one, it has lullabies built in you can play, and also has the ability to talk through the base unit to the camera.  And obviously I like that it has the two camera capability.  It also comes in a model with a smaller screen that is a bit cheaper.  We got it on sale at Target along with an extra gift card when we bought it so got a really good deal on it.

  • I'm late but I want to play! Best part of this week has been the baby snuggles, though they are extremely limited since A and S have to stay in their incubators most of the time. Worst part was the terror I felt knowing babies were coming so early. I was literally shaking for hours on Tuesday and Wednesday...also seeing them hooked up to the monitors and not picking them up whenever I want. :(
