At work we're running an outdated version of Internet Explorer that doesn't work with Pandora or other online streaming stations. We also can't download Spotify or even another browswer without an administrator password. I also cannot use my phone to stream in my department because of potential legal issues (camera on the phone in an environment with credit cards). My music library is such that a regular iPod would not be sufficient as I'd be listening to the same songs over and over.

So I went out and bought something like this:

    RadioShack® AM/FM Pocket Radio

And that's what I listen to music on at work. I feel awesomely 80s whenever I pull it out.

I own one of these!  It's use is two-fold - for weather updates/music for the ridiculous amount of times that we lose power around here and for listening to the Packers games when they are not on TV.  :)

  • Target had a Back to the Future tshirt on clearance for $8 yesterday, and I didn't buy it.  I'm think I'm going to go back and get it today so I can wear it to work on Saturday and do a selfie in front of (inside of???) the Delorean.  Because I can.
@sassypants527 And then post it here or on IG, right?  RIGHT?

  • It is so unbelievably hot in this office right now, I might melt.

MH bought me the season's first carton of Candy Cane Fudge Crackle ice cream and I can't wait to go home and have a giant bowl. On second thought, screw the bowl.... I'll just eat it out of the carton.
I NEED this in my life!!

I watch a lot of kids randomly.  Drop ins, regulars.  All for people I know.  One of the mother's said yesterday that it was awesome that I was "Auntie" to more kids than anyone.
It made me sad.  I don't want to just be Auntie.

  • I started using that duolingo app that @sfgiantsjo mentioned on here and now I'm obsessed.  I have to do it at least once a day or I can't go to sleep.  I think my spanish really is getting better too.
