Happy Friday!! What are you reading?
How do you like it so far? Is it for fun or one of the challenges?
Friday, December 28 2012. The day I had emergency appendix surgery in Mexico and quit smoking. Proof that everything has a good side!! DH and I are happily child-free!! No due date or toddler tickers here!!

I'm reading Allegiant (#55). I think I know what is going to happen and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I plan to finish it tonight or tomorrow because I NEED to read those spolier posts that have been tempting me for too long!
I'm also reading Hopeless (#56) but I haven't picked it up since I got Allegiant from the library.
I'm also listening to The Book Thief (re-read).

I'm going to go back and finish Let's Pretend This Never Happened. It will be #73 for the year. I am also listening to Someday, Someday Maybe and I'm really enjoying it, it is light and funny, #74.
My goal is 75 books for the year, I'm pretty sure I'll meet it.
Reading Kate's Progress by Cynthia Harrod-Eagles. It's sweet so far. I just picked it up on a whim.
Listening to The Fiery Cross and... I'm about to stop. Obviously I've gotten this far with the Outlander series, but I'm three CDs into this book and nothing has happened. Am I going to be saddled with a plot anytime soon? It's all very "I woke up, Jamie had to go to the bathroom, I changed a diaper, we had neighbor trouble, Roger buys some jewelry." Kind of... boring. Should I keep reading or skip right to the next book in the series?

I'm reading too many books at once.
I'm still laboring through The Story of Edgar Sawtelle but I'll finish it this weekend. I'm also still reading Some of My Best Friends are Black.
I then decided to pick up Dog Songs by Mary Oliver which I'm in love with. It's poems about dogs with illustrations too. A couple made me tear up and I can see this definitely being a good Christmas gift for my fellow dog lover/readers.
I'm listening to Beyond the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo and in love with it.
These will be 46, 47, 48, and 49 for this year for a goal of 52.
