CC points and Christmas

I just checked our CC with points and we have a ton of points. I saw the giftcards you can order, and Amazon was one of them. I had already thought to give MIL one to get her kindle books, then maybe SIL/BIL one for a restaurant... but for some reason using my points feels cheap. I'm crazy right?

Totally crazy. You already spent that money to get those points. In most cases, A LOT of money.

You're crazy. When I worked at the bank, customers would tell me that they used their points every year for the majority of their Christmas gifts. It's a perk of the card, and a pretty smart idea. I handled all high net worth clients, (people that spent 25k a more in a month and paid it off every month) and they loved using their points for gifts.
