  I'm reeeeeally bad about keeping my car clean. I can't even tell you the last time it got more than rinsed off by the rain, let alone had the interior wiped down/vacuumed out. 

  
  

  However, the inside is not a disgusting mess of accumulated crap or old trash/food. That shit gets pitched ASAP!

  DH does it most of the time but if I am around when he is washing them I usually pitch in like a good wifey should  :-bd

  Depends on how lazy I'm feeling. Usually I wash it myself (how i voted), but I do run it through the wash occasionally if it's especially bad and I'm in a hurry or it is cold outside. After we go to the mountains, the Jeep gets a HEAVY wash at the carwash..

  In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

  
  

  
  T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

  I rarely wash my car because part of my morning commute is down dirt roads. When it rains I count that as a mini car wash haha. Otherwise DH will bring it to a car wash once in a blue moon.

  H thinks I'm crazy because I clean my car once a week.  If it's too cold outside then I will go to the farm and clean it in the heated shop.  The last resort is running it through the car wash, but those don't do a good enough job. Hand wash only.

  We usually get the exterior washed at a car wash and do the inside ourselves. I don't like dealing with the hose.

  I wash mine. I get DH to help. His family never washes cars and my family does it all. So, he's learning! lol

  The guys at my job hate my car. They are embarrassed that it is parked in the same 5 miles radius as theirs. Haha. I can't help it though because I was my car and then I either go 10 mins out of my way to avoid the dirt roads or I'm on a dirt road the next day. Oh and my driveway is not paved so no matter what I'm screwed...

  Well, we just upgraded to a 20 year newer car, so at the moment that baby gets washed almost every weekend! Especially when we're out mt. biking and it gets dusty pretty quick. Aaand we have black interior + a golden retriever... so, lots of vacuuming.

  @goodwolf That's how ours is too.  Black interior + Collie that likes to come with = Lots of vacuuming.

  @GoodWolf and @brij 2006, how do you ladies not have doggie seat covers?! Mine is ALWAYS on my back seat, because charcoal gray fabric does not work well with fawn Boxer hair or wet/dirty paws!

  @LuckyAngel07 -We have a Subaru outback, so he's in the very back, not on a seat. But his hair floats around the whole car... joy!

  @luckyangel07 I have leather so it seems to wipe off pretty well.  My old car had leather with cloth inserts in the center.  So I would lay down a blanket, and that protected it well. 

  I have more trouble with dog hair in the carpet than I do on the seats.
