I want to see it but I doubt DH has any desire to go. Normally I go to movies DH doesn't want to see with my sister but she hasn't read the book yet and wants to first.
I liked the first movie and thought it was pretty similar to the book. I'm hoping this movie is the same.
Josh and I are going tonight. He doesn't read so it's always fun to take him to movies made from books I read. He loved the first movie and is super excited for the second one. I asked what he thought was going to happen, and from watching the previews, he said, "I bet there's some kind of giant sea monster!! Ahh, that'd be sweet."
So far I've heard that people that read the book are enjoying the movie. I'm really pumped about that, because Catching Fire was my favorite book of the trilogy!
H and I have both read the books and have seen the 1st movie (which I thought was well done and closely followed the book, minus a few details that they didn't have time to include in the movie version). We're excited to see this one too, but I'm not sure when we'll get to the movie theater. We have a busy few weeks coming up, but I'm dying to see it!
I wish we could go this weekend, but I doubt that will happen since we are going to see H's parents for an early Thanksgiving. We can't go next weekend either because we'll be at the beach, and the following weekend we have our company Christmas dinner on Friday and the Baylor v UT game on Saturday. Maybe we can squeeze it in that Sunday. I really, really want to see it though!

I liked it, but not as much as the first one... but I relistened to it a few months ago, and it really was GOOD!
