  • Cancel my previous response! I decided to put down pause Catch Me and The Daughter of Smoke and Bone to re-read The Hunger Games. I can't see the movie for a couple of weeks anyway, so I'm hoping to get through HG and CF as a refresher first.

  • I just finished Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi - wasn't overwhelmed like I was with the first one.  Still beautiful prose, but I feel like these guys are becoming the X-Men. #90

I finished Dare You To by Katie McGarry - Quick read, 4 stars.  #91

Still working through Dr. Sleep - I can't figure out why this one is so easy to put down.  I'm about 150-ish pages in.

Halfway through The Twelve by Justin Cronin.  I love this series.

I have 2 books to return to the library next week, so some strategic planning is in order.

Still reading Fangirl. Seems slow moving for me. I keep getting distracted by life.

@hoycie.  This does not bode well for me.
    :P

I finished today and ended up really liking it. But, as with E & P, I think I like the writing a lot more than the characters or story.
I write sexy books. I read all the books. I love dresses & macarons.

  • I started "The Tower, The Zoo, and The Tortoise" a couple days ago. I'm not very far in, but so far so good!

It is #55 of my goal of 54.  YAY!

  • I'm reading Cooked by Michael Pollan and listening to Tribute by Nora Roberts.  I'm loving the story so it makes up for the fact that I can't stand the narrator's voice!

  • I just started Perfect, a Pretty Little Liars book and am about halfway through A Clash of Kings.  I also decided that I needed to reread Catching Fire before my BFF and I go see it on Monday so I am about three chapters in on that as well.

No challenges for me right now but they are #87 - 89 for the year.
    - Jocelyn my read shelf:
Jocelyn's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)
  • I'm on chapter 3 of Change Your Brain, Change Your Life, which was assigned to me by one of my professors. It's supposed to be helpful when working with clients with anxiety. It's alright so far but I'm not counting it for the year.

  • I'm (slowly) reading Crown of Midnight and alternating my audiobook time between Stories, a short story anthology edited by Neil Gaiman and another re-listen of The Raven Boys.

  • I am reading Two Boys Kissing and really loving the writing but having a hard time getting into it, plot wise. I'm only like 40 pages in so I'm still chugging along:) it is number 92 for the year
