How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? Nothing new here. Still gray and white and black but we put the crib in our room so the nursery works as a big closet and toy box.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Have any of suffered from ocular migraines? where you lose sight in an eye and then get a headache? I've had 2 so far. and I have insomnia.

Best part of your week? Hearing my girl just whoop it up laughing.
Worst part of your week? Oh man. maybe cuz I'm moody and extra sensitive but she has not been napping and is just out of co trol! For example, just because I walked towards her she ran screaming down the hall thinking we were playing chase....it's 7 am here and her dad has to get up to go to work. I'm sure he's awake now.

How are you feeling? A little tired, but that's probably more from lack of sleep. My lower abdomen is starting to hurt a bit, but I think that's more from stretching than anything else.
What are you craving? Nothing.
What is grossing you out? Strong smells. And it's nothing specific - if it's just too harsh, it overwhelms me and if I don't leave I lose it.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Yes! We ordered the nursery furniture on Friday. My dad and stepmom had approved X amount, it came in under that, and they gave us the difference! Now we can buy the ottoman for the glider we wanted!
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Regular checkup today. My mom is coming to see the baby on the U/S.
Have you / will you found out the sex? It's a girl!
Any names picked out? Yes, but not sharing!
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? We decided on Benjamin Moore's Lily Lavender for three of the walls and Misty Lilac for the fourth wall and possibly the closet doors.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? I am hoping to discuss my heartburn issues with my OB today. It's really out of hand and she's not to that size yet!

How are you feeling? Yesterday I felt like total garbage. I slept most of the afternoon, then had a terrible stomach ache after dinner. My stomach feels a little better now, but I didn't sleep well last night, so I feel kind of like a zombie. My step son had strep two weeks ago and now a possible sinus infection; I hope I can at least avoid that!
What are you craving? nothing at the moment
What is grossing you out? eggs and chicken salad
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? I bought two onesies as part of DH's Christmas present; I couldn't resist!
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? First appointment December 5!
Have you / will you found out the sex? Still on the fence. DH wants to, though.
Any names picked out? Still adding to/deleting from our list.
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? We'll see if everything goes through with this house we're trying to buy. Once we decide which room the nursery will be we can start planning. We went to Home Depot yesterday to look at paint colors for the whole house, so I picked out a few for the nursery as well. I'm thinking a light gray.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Is it too early to be looking bloated? DH swears my bump is starting to show just a tiny bit and I keep telling him we have AT LEAST 10 more weeks before that will happen!
QOTW - USA Folks...Thanksgiving is this week! What are you most excited for with Thanksgiving this year?? I can't wait to see my sister, BIL, and nieces; I haven't seen them since the wedding in August. Also, obviously excited to tell our parents we're expecting on Wednesday night.
Worst part: There wasnt really any worst part.
Milestones: yesterday was the first time he giggled, though he has been cooing and talking for a while now. And he learned how to blow bubbles from DC. It was the first time he learned something from DC and did it at home.
I'm looking forward to having four days off with B. I haven't had a day off, besides weekends, since I went back to work when B was 2 months. I miss my kid.

Best Part of Week? Arthur STTN Saturday night. He slept from 7pm to 4am. Got up for a diaper change and a bottle, and went back to bed till 7am.
Worst Part of Week? Changing Arthur's clothes over from 0-3 month to 3-6 month. He is growing so fast. Makes me sad to already be putting clothes away he can't wear anymore.
Milestones: STTN. Although it was only that once. ; ) He woke up twice last night.
QOTW: I think I am just most exciting to have our first Thanksgiving with Arthur. It will be fun to get together with family as well.

What is grossing you out? There's a woman at my office who wears the nastiest perfume. It's so strong and has such a gross smell. Yes, I'm pg and notice it a whole lot, but my co-workers who aren't pg have said it's just as nasty to them.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? We picked up the crib and dresser on Saturday!!! They're in their boxes in the nursery!! Also, friends of ours gave us a stuffed elephant for Little Man.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? U/S on Wednesday to get pictures of LO's heart since he wasn't cooperating at our A/S. We're going to ask them to confirm baby boy is a boy. We're also going to ask them to measure the cysts in his brain to see if they've shrunk at all since our a/s.

How are you feeling? Tired today, but that's because I didn't sleep well. Overall, I have felt pretty good, but keep having hormonal days where I am either crying or everything pisses me off!
What are you craving? Still cheese. And sugar.
What is grossing you out? Nothing at the moment!

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? I have my 2nd trimester bloodwork next week. Then my monthly appt on the 12th and my elective u/s on the 13th!

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Last week a friend mailed me a bunch of her AIO’s cd’s that her daughter doesn’t like at a very reasonable cost….so cloth diapers!

How are you feeling? Sore. My hips really hurt and when I walk, it feels like I've been kicked in the vag. I've been up since 5am today because every time I would turn over it would feel like I'm being split in half.
What are you craving? Oreos. And milk. Tons and tons of milk.
What is grossing you out? The smell of freshly brewed coffee.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? We just received his dresser! And DH's coworker made baby boy a blanket, hat and boogies!

Best part of your week? Decorating for Christmas and K's eyes light up when she saw the tree.
Worst part of your week? Teething like something terrible. I feel like I've been daying for weeks that her tooth is close to poking through, but I swear it's got to be soon. It's the worst I've seen her so far.
Milestones? She's done it before and we;ve missed it, but she finally rolled tummy to back. And she was able to sit up for about a minute by herself.
QOTW - USA Folks...Thanksgiving is this week! What are you most excited for with Thanksgiving this year?? My mom's homemade stuffing!!! SO good! It's also fun because we announced being pregnant last year at Thanksgiving, so it'll be even more fun now that she's here.
Best part of week-Dh, DD and I went and worked the craft bazaar Saturday. We had a plan to run her out to my step dad when she was done there but she did so well we didn't have to! Sh lasted all day from 830-430 at the bazaar and she had fun socializing and even got a good nap in!
Worst part of the week-By far the kidney stone. So much pain. But also being home alone with LO and barely able to take care of her. She got lots of bubbles, TV time and coloring with markers and also got into a lot of things she wasn't supposed to. Luckily our house is baby proofed to be safe so I didn't have to worry.
Milestones-If you tell her to write her name she gets very serious and says A....while scribbling in a small area. It is so cute. Also, last night we were asking if she loves daddy, mommy, bubble guppies etc and she very enthusiasticly said yes to all three but just kind of shrugged at if she loves all her toys. I think she might understand what it means.

How are you feeling? Tired. I feel like the nesting instinct is trying to kick in but I'm just so tired that I do one thing I want to get done and need to sit/lay down.
What are you craving? Nothing. Although, the muffins I'm baking right now sound really good...

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Our dresser is supposed to arrive today! That will be the last of the big stuff... then I can put away the rest of her clothes (and wash the few I haven't washed yet) and clean up the nursery, though I still need to get some shelves. We still need some little stuff, but we are almost ready for her to make her big debut!

Though, I'm not excited for the comments from my in-laws about how huge I am... it wouldn't bother me that much if it was only one comment, but last time my MIL saw me (about a month ago) she commented on it for five minutes before she moved on to something else. I love her, but... sigh.

Best part of your week? Holding S and A at the same time and seeing them in clothes and open air cribs instead of their isolettes.
Worst part of your week? Last Friday their nurse got called out of the NICU to a delivery and no one was covering for her, apparently. S's monitor was going off for about ten minutes because his oxygen had decreased, and no one came until I turned into a blubbering mess and flagged down another nurse.
What are you most excited for with Thanksgiving this year?? Nothing really. What's the thanksgiving equivalent of Bah humbug?

Worst part: DH went hunting yesterday and got home 4 hours later than he expected. I think I mentioned recently that I'm feeling needy these days and being alone all day with no time with DH really sucked.
Milestones: He is smiling now! It's only happened the past 3 days but it's definitely on purpose when I kiss his cheek!
What are you most excited for with Thanksgiving this year?? - spending all day with family and DH!! Baby's first holiday!
