Which to read next?

I still have 150 pages left of The Fiery Cross, but I now have two library books ready, so I think I need to set it aside to read the library books.

I have Orange is the New Black, which I picked up last week.  I watched the show on Netflix and loved it, so I'm completely curious about how it ends.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell just showed up on my hold list today, so I need to go pick it up.  I have a week to pick it up before the clock starts ticking on my three week loan.  I read Eleanor & Park in a day, and I have a feeling I might do the same with this one, if it's really as good as everyone says.

What to do?

I love that all three of those responses was essentially the same!  I wonder if I can get DH to drive to Thanksgiving and I can read Fangirl on the way. . .

    sounds like a plan!

  • I vote for Fangirl first and Orange is the New Black second! I have read both, can't wait to hear what you think.

  • I read Orange is the New Black and it was just so-so.  I've watched some of the show too and I think the show is better.

    Consequently, I vote Fangirl!

  • I wound up starting Fangirl last night, and then staying up until 1 am reading the first 160 pages of it.  I like it so far.  I really enjoy how honest and unapologetic this author is.  I love how flawed her characters are.  I don't care for the fanfic sections, though.  I think I'll be done by the weekend.

I had a pretty good feeling that the show was probably better than the book.  It's pretty clear on the show that a lot has been sensationalized and made for TV, so I don't have super high expectations for the book, it's just that the show ended with kind of a cliffhanger and I'm not willing to wait for season 2 to find out how it ends.  I think her story is absolutely fascinating, though, so I am looking forward to reading it.
