Google says this: In the first season, Jesse's last name was Cochran, but in the second season it was changed to Katsopolis because of John Stamos' Greek heritage. The reason for the change was addressed within the series in an episode in that the last name "Cochran" was a pseudonym Jesse was using to make his name sound more like a rock star.
Haha, I thought I watched every episode. I must of missed that one though. A lot of people must of wondered the same thing, because it showed up as soon as I typed, "Why did Uncle Jesse."
I think I have seen every season of Full House countless times and I didn't know the answer to that one without googling! Hmm, veryyy interesting!
I love love love full house!
Meeee too @amccul20 -- I don't care how old I am I will never EVER get sick of that show! There's something timeless about it, and there's even something comforting about it too. Not to mention, it's hilarious!
I went to San Francisco for the first time a year and a half ago and of course one of the first places I had to go to was the "Full House" house -- those homes are called the Painted Ladies ... BEAUTIFUL! (and then right after I headed over to the Mrs. Doubtfire house... 2640 Steiner Street (I knew that from memory from the movie... so sad and dorky of me)
last night DH walked in the bedroom while I was watching Full House and was like what the hell are you watching? I was like don't hate until you watch a full episode!
Aiden watches it every single night. When I first saw him watching it he acted like he was introducing me to the greatest tv show ever. He didn't believe me when I told him I've been watching it since I was younger than he was.
HAHAHA! @amccul20 I've been caught watching Full House in front of my boyfriend, he made a comment too like your husband but then my boyfriend seemed to linger while he was "folding his clothes" ... I think he was secretly wanting to watch! haha! We all grew up with that show, it's just too sweet and impossible NOT to love it
Mrs. Doubtfire is a classic! Growing up my grandmother kept two movies in her house for me on VHS: Mrs. Doubtfire and Sister Act. Naturally, I know every line to both of those movies!
