@Venti29, do you recall at all how much/how long the old gp'er bled? I finally told my mom earlier what was going on, and she didn't have any hopes it was anything other than m/c (she had one before getting pregnant with my half brothers), so I'm feeling pretty low.
Thanks for the continued support and concern, ladies. I feel like Debbie Downer with every post I've put up this week and my mom just gave me even more shitty news earlier.
I'm not feeling too terribly thankful for anything right now, but I am thankful for all of you.

Thank you for your words of support, too. My mom's a nurse, though she's always been in pediatrics, not maternity. I honestly go back and forth, trying to stay positive and believing the progesterone will fix everything, and then resigning myself to the scenarios of telling everyone the worst. It's hard to stay positive, so thank you for sending those good thoughts for me. ♥

Waiting on my baby girl
EDD 2/5/14
Honestly it has been so long I can't remember the specifics. I believe it went on for a few days to a week. She got on progesterone but it didn't stop it so again she thought it was all over but they upped her dose and/or changed the way she was taking it and it finally eased up. I believe she still had spotting throughout the pregnancy.
I didn't want to say anything because like I said I don't remember the screen name and the details are fuzzy.
Just like Amanda said...I am not saying your worry is unfounded. I would certainly be freaking out in your position. I just really hope that you get good news on Monday.

Now that a few of you ladies have said this, what the heck is SCH? My brain can't figure it out.

BFP #5: 3/25/2015: EDD: 12/8/2015.
This may not be very helpful information necessarily. I took a pregnancy test 2 weeks after my d&c and it was still positive. Granted my body was 13.5w at my d&c, but everyone's levels drop at different rates. A neg could be helpful info but a pos isn't necessarily... But I also like to pee on things so if I wasn't getting weekly hCG draws I'd probably still be peeing just to see. GL Lucky. T&P it's all just a scare on the way to a healthy baby.

I took my first progesterone dose earlier. I just hope it's the answer.

I went in at 6 weeks and they did an U/S where we were able to see a HB so that eased my mind a little but it was still scary. At 8 weeks they told me it was a SCH and measured it and just kept an eye on it to make sure it wasn't going to cause any problems. Sometimes your body can reabsorb them so you possibly never even know you had one and other times they bleed out like mine did.
Doc put me on pelvic rest thru 20 weeks to be on the safe side, but I had no other complications and obviously went on to have a healthy baby girl.
That's why I have been so pro pushing for an U/S for you. Hoping they'd discover something to ease your mind or give you some answers.
Having this experience has taught me it is not always the worst case scenario, so I'm going to remain hopeful for you and FX that baby is healthy and growing.
.
Thinking of you.
After it stopped, I used an opk just to get back to baseline and it was immediately positive so I took a hpt that was also positive. Right after I called my dr. I started bleeding red again. I went in for an us and betas. My betas looked fine, but my us showed an empty sac. I was given 50/50 odds. I guess my progesterone was ok. No one ever mentioned it.
I continued bleeding until my next us a week later (and cramping so badly it made me dizzy). At 6w 4d, an us showed a heartbeat. My dr. Didn't know what caused the bleeding. At 8 weeks, I had more which was a small sch that cleared up. At 26 weeks, I spent a night in L&D for spotting.
My baby was born April 16 and is completely healthy. I am so hoping that you get great news next week. I understand the limbo feeling and it is the worst. I'm thinking about you!
My bleeding has gone way down as of today. It's barely been enough for one pad all day today. I've been praying so hard it means good things, and not just the end of the end.
