The actress who was cast as Moaning Myrtle was 45 (she played an 11 year old!!!!!!) when she filmed Harry Potter. Holy shit! I would have never in a million years guessed this.

I am jealous and want to play a hogwarts student when I am 45.

When I read this like a couple months ago, I was absolutely shocked. Such an good casting decision too.

Holy crap!

lab7979 · December 2013

She looks damn good for 45. I didn't know she was that old. I knew she was an adult though because I had seen her in Bridget Jones Diary which I think came out around the same time.

RevJen · December 2013

I never made the connection between Bridget Jones' Diary and HP.

WHAT?!

MrsJenE · December 2013

That's insane! :::mind blown:::

sassypants527 · December 2013

Yep, she played Jude, the perpetually upset friend dating Vile Roger in Bridget Jones. It's the squeaky voice, too. I recognized her then. She's got that perpetual teenager thing going on like Michael J. Fox.

sfgiantsjo · December 2013

Whoa. I had NO IDEA.

fabk · December 2013

That is crazy!!!

j*&p* · December 2013

Whoa, that's crazy! I might have guessed she was an adult, but I definitely wouldn't have known she was 45. She's in a Doctor Who episode too playing a 20 or 30 something. I guess looking young gives her an amazing range of roles she can play.
