NBR: I'm going swimming on New Years Day!

I'm doing the Penguin Plunge on New Years Day, and going swimming in the ocean (in Rhode Island) to raise money for Special Olympics. The current weather forecast for New Years Day is 22 degrees and a 30% chance of snow.
Maybe it's a coping mechanism, but I feel like it's just not going to be that bad. Sure, it'll be wicked cold, but only for a little bit, and I think it'll also be wicked fun.
