I'm reading This Song will Save your Life by Leila Sales and The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley. This Song Will Save Your Life, I'm enjoying. The Winter Sea is boring my socks off, so far. Nothing has happened.

#1 and #2/100 for the year.
The Winter Sea took me a while to get into but I ultimately enjoyed it. Some of her other books have gotten right to it and I've enjoyed them just as much.

  • Close to finishing listening to MaddAddam. It's good!

Reading American Gods. Enjoying it right from the start.

Beautiful Ruins is an audio that has been dead in the water because of my other audio but it was pretty dry. I'm hoping it picks up around the halfway mark.

Picking at a book called Critical Thinking (can't recall subtitle).

  • I'm still working on A Different Blue. I'm struggling with this one, I'm not a fan so far at about 1/3 through. I'm bummed because I really liked the author's other book Making Faces I read a few weeks ago. Hopefully it will pick up.

This is good to know. I was thinking of starting this one next but after the book I am reading now I really need something I can get into right away.

  • I just finished Attachments last night and now I'm sitting in the waiting room at my doctor's office being annoyed and feeling a little sad that I don't have a Jennifer or a Beth to send a pithy email to.

I just started Taste of Darkness by Maria V. Snyder and Sweetheart by Brandon Sanderson this morning. Both are good so far.

Oh no! There's been some foreshadowing and if this refers to what I'm afraid it does I don't know how I'll handle it.

I just started reading "Necessary Lies" by Diane Chamberlain. I think I'll really enjoy this one! I've read a couple of her books before and enjoyed them, so hopefully this one is the same!
it's just for fun, and will be the first for the year!

I also just picked up "Takedown Twenty" (The latest Stephanie Plum book by Janet Evanovich) from the library, so I'll probably read that tomorrow.
