How are you feeling? scared. I'm very nervous about having a c/s...and kind of feeling like I did something wrong. When logically I know I didn't.
What are you craving? A tuna roll and a latte.

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? I bought a winter hat the other night.

Best part of your week? Brunch with my mommy friends on Saturday while the kiddies played together, and dinner out with DH on Sat.
Worst part of your week? DS not taking a nap yesterday and melting down multiple times yesterday afternoon/evening.
Milestones? Nothing really. I am getting started on planning his 2nd birthday. I can not believe I am going to have a 2 year old...

When is your EDD? January 19
How are you feeling? Like crap. I have had a head and chest cold for the past couple of days that is slowly, SLOWLY getting better but it makes me miserable. Also, I've been having consistent contractions, but they are averaging about 15 minutes apart (they definitely feel different and stronger than my BH). C'mon, baby boy!
What are you craving? Sudafed, lol
What is grossing you out? Ehh, not too much.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? We bought the rock and swing from Amazon with gift cards my dad gave us for Christmas.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? 38 week appointment tomorrow morning. I'm hoping they will tell me no more work for me. I also need to get my med levels checked this week.

Can I throw a pity party here? My dad left for the UK last night and isn't coming back until the 13th. Given that I'm having contractions (even though they are far apart, they are still consistent), I'm terrified that he will miss the baby being born. He was crying when he left our house last night (I am a gigantic Daddy's Girl) and I cried the majority of the night. It's a work trip and he HAD to go, but it still really sucks. As much as I want to get this show on the road, I want to hold LO in until my dad gets back.

How are you feeling? Still just hungry all the time! And my hip pain at night is back :-(

My mom bought him two baby's first Christmas bibs, a picture frame, first Christmas ornament and first Christmas stocking (all were on clearance...even better!). My SIL bought these two onesies that are just adorable! And then we picked up the crib and dresser over the weekend and I had to buy a few more maternity clothes.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? I have my next monthly appt tomorrow morning. The doctor is supposed to go over the A/S results with me.
Have you / will you found out the sex? It's a boy! And it was confirmed at the A/S.

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? We'll be getting started this week! We're finishing up cleaning/setting up the office that will become the office/guest room. I also found curtains at Target! I'd been planning on finding fabric and making them, but I found these great bright red ones at Target for $10/panel! Our "theme" is bright colors. Age-almost 2! (21 mo)
Best Part of the week-LO has just been super lovey lately. Lots of squeezes and kisses and blowing kisses. Also talking all the time!
Worst Part of Week-We are working on learning to pick up after playing especially with all the new toys from Christmas but her new thing to do when she spills or dumps something or when you ask nicely for her to please pick it up is to squeal NO and then flail her hands or feet launching everything all over the place. She still ends up picking it up but it is frustrating for sure.
Milestones-She has figured out that other people have Mommies and Daddy's too and she will point out in books and on TV a mommy, daddy and baby. She also is assigning things lately...Mommy's drink, Daddy's drink, my drink. And a word explosion! If you ask her to say a word she will try to say it.

Best part of your week? Having the holiday in the middle of the week was great. An extra day home with DH and G.
Worst part of your week? All this crappy weather. It is so annoying to get bundled up to go anywhere. The dogs aren't getting enough outside time and we all have cabin fever. I think even G was happy to get out and go to school today.
Milestones? He sits up by himself now and rolls over onto his belly a lot. He talks constantly. He has been a great sleeper lately (knock on all the wood in the universe). We have started BLW and he is totally disinterested, lol.

How are you feeling? EXHAUSTED and disgusted. Warning: this is going to be a vent/rant! We were in the ER with my stepson until 2:30 this morning. He's absolutely fine (DH and I are sure it's anxiety), but his BSC mother thinks it's okay to take her child to the ER at 9:30 on a Sunday night because he doesn't want to go to school and starts complaining about stomach pains that are a 6-7 out of 10. I really want to buy her a dictionary with the word "emergency" highlighted! DH has full legal custody and she still thinks it's okay to pull this shit and not tell him she's taking him to the ER (we found out when DH texted his son asking if he needed anything for school tomorrow). She also thinks it's okay to tell DH I have to wait in the waiting room. I'm so glad DH stood up to her and said, "She is part of this family whether you like it or not and if you keep trying to cause drama I will pull the legal custody card and have YOU escorted to the waiting room." When the nurse was verifying his insurance she said, "Who's P?" I said, "Me. He's on my insurance." This bitch turns around and says, "But you're not even is parent." Me: "I'm his stepPARENT and happen to get excellent benefits through work. I'm sorry if that offends you; most people would be grateful." UGH! she is just unbelievable and I'm going to need stitches on my tongue from biting it so much for the good of my stepson. She can just fuck right the fuck off. Sorry that was so long. Anyone who actually read that whole rant deserves a cookie!

How are you feeling? I'm having more good days than bad now, and I'm so thankful! I was able to vacuum and do laundry yesterday (DH has been doing this for the last 6 weeks, poor guy. I'm so grateful for him!). I'm hoping that things keep looking up from here
What are you craving? I just wish things tasted the same as they used to. I had a french dip sandwich last night, and was SO excited about it because it was the thing that sounded good. No such luck, I had to choke it down.
What is grossing you out? A lot of things still
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? I got a book, "Pregnancy Sucks" (hilarious), a pregnancy journal, and a baby name book this weekend.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? I need to re-schedule my next appt. For some reason I scheduled it for 14.5 weeks, when I'm supposed to be in by 12. Not my smartest moment.

Best part of your week? I could see Lexi help my mom fold the laundry. Other than that, I love how she loves her books and always asks me to read her two stories and sing her "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" before bed. It melts my heart when I start singing, she closes her eyes and has a big smile on her face.
Worst part of your week? Going back to work when I had the last few days off.
Milestones? No new milestones, but she has had an interest in learning new Portuguese words lately. Also, she had her first Jujitsu class with DH (he coaches and assists) last Monday. She looks so cute trying to do an arm-bar and try to figure out her ground work.

Best part of your week? It's been a pretty good week. My kid is hilarious and always makes me laugh. She's been giving fantastic bedtime kisses and sweet "bye byes". I think she blew me a kiss yesterday, totally unprompted. And she slept the last 2 nights in her big girl bed without getting up.
Worst part of your week? Lucy's getting a cold and that's sad.

Best part of your week? Seeing DH really interact with A. She's starting to smile at him a lot, and is happy being held by him. I can tell DH is loving it.
Worst part of your week? Waking up at 3am last night with horrible cramps, stomach pain, back pain and nausea. It was a rough night in the bathroom, and I still don't feel very good.
Milestones? She is really using those fingers, and she's on the verge of rolling!

Best part of your week? always seeing my girl laugh and smile and acknowledge her brother melts my heart. Seeing my boy smile and acknowledge his sister is heaven.
Worst part of your week? oh man. these terrible twos and also having stomach issues.
Milestones? We have the smiles from the boy and he's lifting his head constantly. it's like he wants to join in on the craziness of his sister. And as always, just the vocab from my daughter. We can have full conversations now.

Best part of your week? My parents are here and my mom took her overnight a couple of nights so DH and I could get a full night's sleep. They are leaving tomorrow, so my mom is doing it one last time tonight. I'm going to miss them!
Worst part of your week? She has been really fussy the past few days. I'm not sure if it's a Wonder Week (she was early, so I'm not sure if it applies yet or not) or if it's gas or what. It's been rough.
Milestones? She has started lifting her head more when on her tummy.
