DH and I booked our hotel for PAX East in April last night. Super excited! We haven't gone in a couple years. Looking forward to having some fun.
I know there are lots of awesome ladies on this board who live in the area. We're staying at the Marriott in Cambridge and the convention is at convention hall. Any recommendations on where to eat (cheap)?

Re: AW: I'm going to Boston!
My Ovulation Chart

There's a great Italian/pizza place on Newbury St. called Papa Razzi. It's the best pizza I've had since Italy. Bruins took me to Legal Seafood and it was awesome, too.
"I DO NOT love that you think so many things revolve around you. I know you're bitter. I get it. But I'm over your feelings." The best person on the internet ever!
The one we went to was Long Wharf I think. I'm pretty sure the aquarium was nearby. There are a ton of Legal Seafood restaurants in Boston, though.

Yay Boston.
I'd make Bruins take you to this awesome place- the Pond House Grille. It's not far at all- just in a neighboring town (*cough* state *cough*) I can meet you guys there. They have awesome entertainment.
In all seriously-ness. Legal Seafood is a definite. H and I really enjoyed Wagamama, which was in the Prudential Center. Not extraordinary culinary experience, but it was yum, and if I remember correctly, affordable.
And hey, if you make it to the Sam Adams Brewery, you're one up on us!

I'm not from Boston, but I go there quite a bit and Legal Seafood gets my vote too. Another vote for Wagamama for cheap yummy food. Annnnnnddddd you absolutely MUST hit up El Pelon (mexican). Go for lunch though because it's not super fancy, but the food is bangin'. I think they have 2 locations in the city - the one I went to was near Fenway Park.

How long will you be staying? And how much time do you plan on being at PAX? DH and I have gone every year since they started it in Boston (though he'll be going solo this year). If you plan on being at the center for the full amount of the convention, honestly the food court is your best bet.
If you stay for the concerts, note that there are VERY VERY few food options afterwards. The first year we went, DH and some of our friends walked from the center back to the hotel thinking they'd grab food on the way home and there was literally nothing open. We did discover this awesome place the next year called Bova in the North End. It's a 24 hour pastry/deli and it's fabulous. We've been back every year since.
If you're staying extra days outside of the convention, there are obviously tons of options, but we've only done that once.
Have tons of fun!
