I confess that I dread trips to MIL's and it's kind of always a miserable time...yikes. I said it!
In case you haven't noticed, I'm an extreeemeeee optimist. Out there it's all cynicism, woe-is-me, and lifeisalwaysmiserableallthetimeforever. I will keep going out and being as sweet as pie, but inside I'm literally counting down the hours before I go home. Whew. That felt good to confess!
I confess that the picture of the pants from yesterday have been safety pinned for 3 years!! The zipper broke like a week after I bought them, so I've just been safety pinning them for the past 3 years with no Fs to give!
I'm always sad when my student leaves to go back to school. She's so fun and nice... and it's nice having another girl around! Today is her last day for the winter (

Work audit is next week. I keep bouncing back and forth between feeling like I want to throw up over it and not really caring in the slightest. I'm very sick of seeing paperwork right now.
On a good confession note, I decided to take the online test for Jeopardy tonight. So we'll see how that goes.
@consciousdear88 My H took the Jeopardy test last night. It was really hard. He said he doesn't think he'll be getting called for the next round. Good luck to you!
I confess that I pretend that I am sicker than I am so my H will cook and do the dishes after dinner. I really am not feeling well and after dinner I just want to lay down, but I could clean up since H has been cooking. I can cook side dishes with no problem. The smell of cooking meat is absolutely disgusting though. I really do need him to cook that.

Me too...it was sooo late (10pm ) in my time zone b/c i couldn't take it the other two days...and was supposed to be at work between 5-7...and got her at 6:50 b/c of snow!!! that i didn't know about (how...i don't know)
sorry, that was more rant-y than confession-y and it's friday now
so...I confess that I use 79 cent VO5 shampoo and conditioner...and always get complements on my hair, it's so shiny, long, strong, pretty, smells good etc. (hair is my thing!) and I'm embarrassed to tell people what I use when I ask. Even my hair dresser is impressed with how healthy my hair is. so here it is: I blow dry on low heat (if at all), I only use a hot curling iron 1/mo if that, and I only wash my hair 3-4 times a week. (usually after I run) no other product (except on rare occaisions, then super hair spray 80s style) this = super healthy hair...
@sjs1013 Yeah, I probably won't get a callback either. I do feel a tiny bit prouder though that I at least answered more this time than I did when I was attempting to do this my freshman year of college. I did also make the joke that my boss would be proud of me since of the questions was related to her major in college.
@linnae939 We had the same time slot! I figured the 10 pm time slot would be safer for me since I volunteered to work late shift all this week (One of my labmates got married and is currently off on her honeymoon, so I took her shifts. She is experiencing 70-80 degree weather right now; today will be the first day that I don't have to wear 80 layers of clothes since it's finally above freezing. So I can definitely sympathize with the snow) I did start to get a bit worried though. The day that testing would have been at 7, I got out of work at 7:30. The day it would have been at 8, I just barely got out before 8. I started to think karma would punish me and I'd be racing up the road at like 10 till 10 to hop online. Thankfully made it home at 715 with time to spare.
