FRIDAY CONFESSIONS

Entertain me.

Funny Somewhat Topical Ecard: I'm shocked at how much planning it took to cause traffic in New Jersey.

  • I really really feel like I would love playing WoW, but I refuse to start because I think I would become addicted.

My mom once told me that this is why she never smoked pot.
  • I feel like I need a code for the new emotions (or that it would tell me what it is when I click over it), I have no idea what half of the faces are and can't find one when I am looking for it... #somemaythinkimstupid :-)
Try googling "yahoo emoticons" (or something similar) That should give you the information you're looking for.

  • My sister is getting married next Saturday. I'm the maid of honor and I'm seven months pregnant. The dress is floor length with a one sholdered strap thing and it's this gray-ish green color.

I look like a fat statue of liberty. At the fitting, I sent a photo to my husband and he responded with "God Bless America" lol.
I literally (yes, the true meaning) LOL .

I can't believe you are 7 months pregnant already, time flies!

Overachieving baby wearers annoy me. I loved to wear L but I think some of my IG friends are part of a secret baby wearing cult. I get it, you can wear a baby strapped to your head and one hanging off your ass at the same time AND make dinner and do a load of laundry at the same time. ::slow claps::
    I'm glad I'm not alone.

I think I love your husband. That's kind of hilarious. Hope you have fun at the wedding. On a side note, can you believe we're 7 months pregnant already??

  • I'm not surprised that the douchebag governor got caught playing with fire.  He's an ass.

Now for my confession.  I'm pissed off at my husband and I don't think he knows it.  He posted something to my timeline about inconsistencies with the HP3 movie and made me watch the video.  That annoyed me because what the narrator was bitching about was actually addressed in the books.  So I said that to him and then posted a response to what he posted like, "The problems he had with the movies are why the books are usually better."

He then posted this long response about it which ended in something stupid about JKR ultimately utilizing the same format at Star Wars blah blah blah.  I'm irritated at him because that's what he does to people that he's trying to intimidate so I told him off on FB.  I'm going to delete the whole thing because I'm furious that he would treat me that way.  And he's not feeling well today so he's going to be sick and mad by the time I'm done yelling at him when I get home.  And I'm annoyed enough to think about deleting my FB altogether because I'm sick of it.

Long story short:  My husband is being an ass today and I'm not putting up with it.

  • It is hilarious, and I was dying laughing at the bridal shop when I read his text. =) I'll see if I can post the photo.

@NorthernLghts No joke, time has flown. Are you ready?

  • @Nocturnalintimacy Yes & no. We have a crib, it's just not assembled yet but we don't have much beyond that. The room doesn't need to be painted, just cleaned so it's just a matter of not being lazy at this point. I have a bassinet in our room that I got for free this weekend so worse comes to worse, she can sleep there for the time being. My mom & two of my friends are currently trying to figure out what they are going to do for my shower so I haven't really bought much for that reason either. You?

  • @nocturnalintimacy That is pure gold. In the first one, it looks like you're holding a torch aloft! LOL

@caseyandlizzie Stick around!  I haven't read anything in a while either, but I just like being a weird piece of furniture on NBC. Heh.

@NorthernLghts We have to buy a crib and a monitor, but we basically have everything else from Collin. I was just talking to DH about a shower because I feel like it's not necessary, and I don't want to put anyone out...but at the same time, I feel guilty celebrating our first son's birth and not our second son's. Does that make sense?

LOL. I know it's terrible. I mean, you know going in that bridesmaid dresses are going to suck, but add on an extra 30 pounds and a non-flattering color....all I can do is laugh.

  • I just got an award at work.  A "Most Valuable Colleague" award.  The confession is that I don't feel like I deserve an award at all.  Maybe an award for slacking off and avoiding the contentious stuff I don't want to deal with, because I'm damn good at that.  But not so much for actually doing good work.  The words on the certificate say that it's for good work on one particular case that I actually have been busting my ass on for the past 2 years, so I guess there's that.  But lately, I just feel like a slacker.
