  • I'm far too lazy to copy the reading challenge siggy. I'd rather be home eating Cheez-Its.

  • In lieu of the confession I can't remember that I was saving for today, I have to say don't care one whit about HIMYM.

  • Netflix has kind of ruined me for regular TV.  I can't stand having to wait a whole week for another episode, and I often lose interest over the course of the week.
  • I've never really watched HIMYM either.... I definitely feel out of the loop.  I do however like Niel Patrick Harris.

  • I hate that our lease stipulates that we cannot keep any animals (wild or domestic (I kid you not)) other than our three cats, because there is a dollbaby stray kitty outside and it KILLS me to not be able to bring him or her in and love it to pieces and feed it up to a normal weight.  Kills me.  I want to find a loophole in this policy.  See:

  • It's about 85* outside right now, and I'm running my space heater because my classroom is freezing. I feel ridiculous, but I need to keep it nice and cold in here for the kids since it's so warm outside. I was just thinking about getting out my fingerless gloves because my fingers are so cold.

Our neighbors are renters from the same company, so probably not.  And the ones near us are all dog people.  I thought s/he might belong to the people below us, but since kitty is so skinny I doubt it.

I would keep the cat. You already have some and it's not like cats make a lot of noise. Poor baby is in need.

You're killing me here!  ;-)  I've tried that line with DH a thousand times, but I agree.  I think s/he trolls from house to house, scrounging what s/he can.  The local spca group will spay and release for $36 so we're doing that if nothing else.  They don't have room for kitty at the shelter.

Started Jurassic Park by Micheal Crichton recently because my DH recommended it and I loved it so much, I went out and bought the triology on Bluray box set. Can't wait to read the next book in the series :D

This is how we ended up with 4 cats...if you ask our leasing dept though we only have 2 (hehe....)
  • Okay so a couple of confessions

    1) I've been looking forward all week to my Saturday off....as in no practicing, no school work, no running errands....pretty much doing anything I want all day. Then I get home and 30 min ago (at 9pm) my husband announces that we are having 4-5 people over tomorrow night for a movie night. He divided up the chores and left me with scrubbing the floors, cleaning the kitchen and the downstairs bathroom. I am soooo disappointed now. Tomorrow was my only complete day off that I will get for probably another 6 weeks :/  I've tried explaining that to him and his response is "fine go stay in a motel tomorrow night".

    2) I'm so thankful someone mentioned HIMYM because I've never seen the show either so I had NO clue what the big deal with the siggy's was! I felt/feel quite out of the loop.

Agreed. We had 2 dogs and our leasing office didn't notice or didn't care. And they're big dogs. I don't think they'd come over and count your cats.

  • Instead of putting on my big girl pants and calling the people I have been working with this week to go out tonight, I am drinking boxed wine by myself in my hotel room. It really isn't that bad of a Friday night either.
