After 2 years of TTC, lots of tests, and a Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy to remove several polyps,

So, first off, you pretty much can't go wrong with Max Downtown. Max restaurant group has a number of places (all different cuisines) in and around Hartford. Max Downtown is american, and delish. Probably a 10-15 minute walk to the Bushnell, and you can cut through the park.
Also American (maybe more upscale) is Dish. H took me there before a show for a birthday dinner one year, and it was amazing. Same walk, maybe a few extra minutes.
For Italian, (and shorter walks) you can try Peppercorns, Salute, or Vito ' s by the Park. I haven't been to them, but have heard great things about them all.
