Hey girls, just started on here. I would love to hear how far along are all of you and is this your 1st, 2nd or what have you??

xo Also, when you found out, how did you keep it a secret? I mean, I talk to my Mom and Sister almost every day. How do you not say anything, esp since they ask all the time?? lol TIA

I am currently 24w1d and this is my first :-)

ETA: Since it took us over two years to get pregnant, I told my parents right away. Then the further along I got, I gradually started telling other people. Most family and close friends knew pretty soon though.

12.5 weeks with our first

Thanksgiving was a week after we found out, so we told family at just about 5 weeks! I think having family know early really helped us keep it secret from the rest of the world longer. Plus, then I knew I had their support if anything were to happen

We told our parents and siblings at 6 weeks. I couldn't keep it a secret!

8w1d with our first.

Coming off the loss in Nov, we decided to wait to tell anyone. I think I ended up waiting until about 6 1/2 weeks to tell my parents, but my sister knew right away (that's just our relationship and support system). DH ended up telling his mom one day soon after my 5w appt when they found the heartbeat. I just told my closest friends this past weekend, and have another friend who I'll hopefully get to tell soon, whenever I see her in person.

Our first is 7 months old. It was hard keeping it a secret from our parents, so we told our best friends. We waited until the 8 week mark and had a nice reveal.

I am almost 6 months post PG (DS is 6 months 2/1/14).

We kept quiet until I was about 9 weeks. We surprised our families on Christmas. It helped to have something to look forward to (the surprise). We kept the sex a secret until Mother's Day as a surprise also. I like surprises!

I have an almost 2 year old daughter

Everybody knew by 7 weeks. My morning sickness was so bad we couldn't hide it from anyone we see regularly and once word got out it spread fast. We told my mom, my brother and my close friend right away. DH told his Grandma and one coworker right away.

I have a 27 month young girl and we didn't tell our parents until 12 weeks. it was tough cuz I talk to my mom ever day too but I just kept my eye on the prize.

I also have a 6 week young boy and I told my mom the day I found out because I was freaking out with having another one so soon. Told my dad at 9 weeks then the rest at 10 weeks.

it's tough because you want to tattooing on your forehead but I wanted to make sure things were progressing.

16w 2d with my first, DH's second (my step son is 12)

I told my sister the day I got my BFP. She's my best friend and I needed her help with ideas on how to tell our parents on Thanksgiving. A few of our best friends figured it out pretty early because we were out and I wasn't drinking. I didn't feel the need to lie, so we just asked them to keep it a secret. We waited until New Years Eve (a little over 12 weeks) to tell the rest of our friends and make it "FB official."

I'm 22 weeks along with my first pregnancy. keeping a secret was difficult and we held out on telling our families until about 7 weeks and only told them then because we were seeing a RE and had a lot of doctors appt's to attend and my H works for the family business.

I have two. One will be 3 next month and one just turned 6 mo. With the first we told my parents at 5 weeks because of some bleeding and wanting the support, but didn't tell anyone else until 12 weeks. With the second we told our parents and brothers after our 8 week appt and announced to close friends at 12 weeks again. I didn't put anything on FB until after our A/S for both pregnancies. It was hard keeping it a secret, but I'd rather not have to tell the world if something went wrong because I'm a semi-private person. I know many others like the support they receive if there's problems though.

We didn't wait to tell family. I knew we'd have good support should something happen and they were all elated.

Our first is almost 10 months old (HOLD ME!) and we've discussed TTC #2. It's on the back burner for awhile longer.

We told our parents and closest friends right away in the thought that if something were to happen at least we would have them for support. We didn't make any announcement to others until 12 weeks. It was hard and I know co-workers could guess since my morning sickness was out of control but I still was being cautious.

I'm 12 weeks 4 days and this is our first. We found out right before Thanksgiving and we were hosting, so we told immediate family (parents and siblings) right away at about 5 weeks. If something were to happen they would most likely know anyway and would be really supportive. At Christmas we told my grandma and extended family after seeing the HB, that was around 8 weeks. Still haven't told the world yet and debating if I ever will make if FB official.

This is my second and I am 6w 2d along. My first just turned 4 yesterday. Both pregnancies we told my parents fairly quickly for the support. With DD's pregnancy, it leaked through to families and coworkers fairly quickly. This time around, I am gradually telling family and friends, pretty much when I see them. I'm doing a FB reveal sometime between Monday and Valentines day. I have my dating u/s on Monday, but I want my DD to continue doing the reveal. She announced to my family that she's going to be a big sister and I would like her to do the same in pictures for the rest of the world (I'll be 9w 3 days by Valentine's Day).

I told my best friend before anyone, and DH blurted it out to his boss (who is also his friend) the day after my BFP.

I'm currently 29 weeks 5 days. This is our first. Even though it took us 22 months to get pg, we still kept it secret from our parents and siblings until I was 8 weeks. It was tough, but getting to talk about it on here was a great relief!

This is my first and I am 30w3d. We told our families at 9 weeks and the rest of the world at the start of 2nd tri. This board and my BMB kept me sane! I also had one friend who was TTC on the same exact cycle times as me, so she knew first and was able to answer a lot of my questions.

I told my mom and dad the weekend after I foud out. We waited until I was about 10 weeks to tell the rest of the world. It was really hard keeping it a secret for that long!

We have a 3.5 week old daughter. We went through IVF to get pregnant, so the people we're closest to knew when we were finding out. We didn't really have a chance to keep it secret. I figured that if something bad were to happen, they were the people we would tell anyway, so I didn't mind that they knew so early.

I have an almost 4 month old daughter. I told my parents and ILs at 4wks and everyone else at 5wks. It was causing anxiety to hold in the secret, since I was shocked and excited to be pregnant.

I am 27 weeks with my third. I have two amazing boys and we are expecting a girl in April.

We told our parents the minute we found out pretty much with our first an we waited for a verified heartbeat with or second since we had a miscarriage in between. We did the same for this one

15wks 2days with my first. I didn't have any morning sickness so it was pretty easy to keep it a secret in that sense. The hardest was that I wasn't drinking. There were a lot of shenanigans pulled to trick everyone with that, but it was a success. Between DH and a couple friends who knew, we pulled it off.

I have an almost 14 month old son. Since it took us over 2 and a half years to get pregnant, we told our families right away. Everyone else, we waited until about 15 weeks to tell them. It really wasn't that difficult for us to keep it from our casual friends and family.

We are considering TTC #2 but haven't told anyone yet.
