Help, I started spotting light brown yesterday, now this morning dark redd

I am freaking out. I had a horrible headache yesterday, and woke up early this morning went to the bathroom and I had dark red blood. Not a whole lot, but how it is when I 1st would start AF. Just went again, and same thing. Its been about 4 hours. Could I be miscarrying? I am totally freaking out, I havnt gotten an appt with my Dr yet, was going to call tomorrow. Please help

Could be anything at this point. I spotted for 2 weeks with my first pregnancy and had intermittent bleeding and everything was fine. Spotting can be very normal. Do you have any cramping or are you filling a pad? Sorry it's so unknown. Pregnancy is pretty terrifying.

Thanks. I have mild cramping, but the blood is a dark red, not pink or brown. I will definitely call the dr tomorrow, it sucks feeling like this. So confusing too. I'm totally praying it is just spotting and nothing to worry about.

Ditto this. Try calling the doctor now and see if their answering machine leaves another number for emergencies that you can call.

This might be nothing - it could be implantation bleeding since you took one of those early detection pregnancy tests. I know it's confusing/frustrating because period symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms can be very similar. So yea, call now and see if you can get through to someone.

Try to calm down, stressing is not good for you. Hopefully it is nothing but I definitely second calling either today or first thing tomorrow.

So sorry this is scaring you, but you need to stay as calm as possible. If you call you Dr today and first thing tomorrow morning, they should be able to see you very shortly. The first time I bled was a week after I got a bfp. It was dark red and globby and scared me soo bad. My H put me in the bathtub and stayed with me to make sure I stopped crying. Luckily, everything was fine.. even after that incident i bled every couple of weeks and it made me so nervous, but baby was fine the whole time. I so hope you get an answer soon to be sure. Waiting is so hard but we're here for you if you need to talk, and I know it's easier said than done but again try to relax so your body isn't stressed.

I did call the dr. They didn't/couldn't really help much, but told me to come in early tomorrow and they'd check me out. It has gotten worse,

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. I understand that kind of terror all too well.

When I m/c, the bleeding was heavy right away and I had horrible cramping. I'm praying so hard for you this this doesn't mean a thing. I'll tell you what my Dr. told me early on: your body is sending a LOT more blood down there, and your cervix can be irritated very easily. Bleeding can happen for so many reasons.

I truly hope and pray it doesn't get any worse, and when they see you tomorrow they can put your mind at ease. You said you had b/w done to confirm the pregnancy, right? Ask if they can do another draw and check your levels; this early on, that's probably the best indicator of how things are going.
