@Young_Love  I guess I am already half way there, I already have the cat collection.  Guess I just need the retirement home.

  • @Booknerd226 - I don't have a good picture of it.  It's in such a place that somebody else will have to take the picture.

@MrsJenE How are old are you?  (Hey, it's ask me anything, right?)

I always pictured you older but then read that you want 3 kids so apparently my assumption was wrong (I also still picture @booneybear as being really tall and bad ass despite that not being the case so I obviously know nothing about all of you inside my computer.)
Old enough to put enough thought into having children, but young enough to have three kids.

I'm the girl on the right in Booneybear's profile picture.
I JUST NOW REALIZED that we are in Booney's profile picture.  LOL!

Okay, I'm sorry.  I didn't state she was TOO OLD.  I just thought she was older than she was but her saying she wanted 3 kids made me realize that she must be younger than I thought.  I do no want to fight.  I do not want to banished and hated.

    I apologize for insulting anyone.

No more Ask Me Anythings for me.
We're not fighting and no one hates you, but this stuck with me.  And if I were in my late 30s and wanted three kids, that's my business.

Andbutalso, didn't you just say that becoming a mother was the scariest thing you've ever done? Yea, it's a huge decision and I'm taking my time.
@MrsJenE Yes that is COMPLETELY your business.  I hate that this got blown out of proportion and came across not as I intended.

Yes becoming a mother was the scariest thing I've done.  Why?  Because I wasn't set on having kids and it happened anyway.

None of this was a judgement on the fact that you didn't have kids yet.  I intended to be childless so I don't judge a woman's decision either way.

Oh man.  I'm going to hate myself later for continuing this...

But you just said that women in their late 30s are too old to be considering having 3 kids.  Isn't THAT judgy?

Sigh.  I hate that I'm continuing... but... For me, personally, late 30s would be too old to start having kids.  That's my personal opinion.  For myself.  And my body.  Other women might be more cut out for motherhood and if starting later is their preference, that is fine for them.

Honey, just stop.  You brought this up - you asked a woman who is past high school how old she was, and then made an assumption that she would be a certain age based on her procreation decisions.  All around this was ill-advised.

    Acknowledge, don't defend.
