best/worst read in January
Hope everyone's reading year got off to a great start! What was your favorite and least favorite book this month and why?
Best: Mary Poppins by PJ Travers. It was just fun and quick to read.
Worst: The First Phone Call From Heaven by Mitch Alboim. I've been a huge fan of this author and this was disappointing. Not his best work by far

Worst:The Good Nurse. I had high hopes for this one, but it did not meet them.
Best: Cutting for Stone. It was very, very good.
Worst: It wasn't the worst but it was the biggest disappointment, Tatiana and Alexander by Paullina Simons.
Update: I just finished I Found You by Jane Lark... It was the worst book I've read in awhile by far.

my read shelf:
Best: Heartless by Sara Shepard. I am just really into the Pretty Little Liars series right now.
Worst: Chose the Wrong Guy, Gave Him the Wrong Finger by Beth Harbison. Not horrible but it dragged a lot for me as all I wanted to do was slap the MC.
Best: Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein
Worst: Things Pondered by Beth Moore

It took me a while to get into it. TBH, if I hadn't been reading it for book club, I probably would have quit. I'm really glad I finished it.Worst: Catching Jordan - Keneally (2 stars)
Izzy and Baby A ~ Adorable Punks
WORST: When you Were Here by Daisy Whitney, but it was still really good. I have read a lot of great ones this month! I still gave this 4 stars.
Worst: Between You and Me. No more books from the ladies who wrote The Nanny Diaries. Blech!
Worst? _The Redemption of Callie and Kayden_ by Jessica Sorensen - the first one of these two was good! The second? Bleah.
Worst: I didn't really have any terrible ones...my least favorite was The Book Thief, but it wasn't terrible. Just a little slow for me.
my read shelf:
I'm struggling to finish this one. It kills me because I usually LOVE Sanderson's writing, and there's nothing inherently bad about this book, but I.just.don't.care. about the characters. =/
