  Went grocery shopping, cleaned, took in the recycling, dropped off our Christmas tree to the thrift store.  J wants a new one.  J is making fresh bread.  We napped for 30 minutes.  Now I am doing laundry.  I am tired.

  You know what bothers me?  People who take my ideas and then credit themselves for them.  I just got an email talking about how my supt. is working on "therapeutic needs" for our center based programming.  Ya, hi...I have been working on this since last year. She is going to run into the same problems I did.  The part that bothers me is that she is looking like she is this awesome supt because she is doing it, and no one knows about all the work I ALREADY put into the project.

  I let the little things get to me wayyyyyyy to easy.  She isn't going to be able to do it anyways because like I said, she will run into problems like I did.  She doesn't get counseling and the whole ethics of it.  I shouldn't be upset by it, I should just laugh it off, but I am.

  I've really enjoyed working with Head Start programs, but I'm definitely not limiting my search to there. I enjoy working with children, especially 0-5 years, and families. So far my experience that I've enjoyed and feel like I'm pretty good at has been with behavioral intervention in home and in school, and resource referral. So little ones and families are my starting point haha. I also came across some job listings at a community college for working with college students with community referral, transfer and real life preparation, etc that looked really interesting. 

  
  

  Ultimately, I've just been looking at jobs with families >.<

  Master in Social Work, concentration in Family, Child, and Youth

  Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Family Relations

  
  

  Two experience with working individuals with developmental disabilities, leadership experience (supervisor of a children with developmental disabilities program), two years working with the Head Start program

  I loved working at my community college doing a job similar to the one you thought was interesting. Everyday was something new.  Plus I could for taken classes for free.  I love the idea of taking classes slow and interesting ones for fun.  I am a nerd like that!

  Same! I have always wanted to take more spanish classes. It's so useful! I took three years in high school, but have been considering going back for more!

  They didn't have a school counselor one.

  
  

  I did find a mug that says "school counselor...will work for cupcakes"  All my kids know how much I love candy.
