Re: Happy Friday!! What are you reading?

  • I'm reading The Infinite Moment of Us by Lauren Myracle.  I'm about 100 pages into it and liking it so far, but I'm worried about the ending since some people have said they didn't like it.  It's #5 of the year.

    Books Read in 2016: 4/50

  • I have just decided that I am going to start "The Universe Versus Alex Woods" by Gavin Extence right now.,
    90 books in 2015?

  • I'm reading Attachments by Rainbow Rowell and Affliction (anita blake series.)

I'm not a huge winter olympics fan but I'll watch some of the skiing or figure skating if its on.

  • I'm slowly reading several. I just can't focus this week. I am reading Gilded, Crash, Obsession, and The Shining Girls. I am around 15-30% through them all. I might start Be With Me today because I am just not getting into any of the others.

I reading Rogue Rider by Larissa Ione.  I'm about 75% done and I'm really enjoying it! #9

I'm listening to Midnight Rising by Lara Adrian. I'm enjoying it enough. It reads like a typical PNR, which isn't a bad thing, but it's a little typical.  #10
I think this one was one of my favorite of that series. I need to pick up the most recent one.

  • I'm reading The Little Friend by Donna Tartt right now.  It's pretty good so far but I'm only a sixth of the way through.

I love the ice events.  Hockey, figure and speed skating, even curling (mostly because it's funny and I think I might be able to do that one).

I'm interested in what you think. I have The Goldfinch & The Little Friend on my shelf but haven't gotten to them yet. I loved The Secret History!

  • I'm reading Beauty from Pain by Georgia Cates its for WBC.  I was only going to read a chapter or two last night after finishing another book but I ended up almost half way.  I would have kept going but it was 2am.  I'll probably start on Voices by Arnaldur Indridason also for WBC.

I love watching almost anything, I love the Winter Olympics but my favourites are hockey, skiing and snowboarding.

  • I just started the last Harry Potter book.  This is the first time I've read the Harry Potter books.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I'm reading Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi, the final book in the Shatter Me series.  It's okay.  I don't get the swoony-ness of one of the main characters though.

    #15

I love the Olympics.  (I dislike the drama revolving around Russia...)  I will watch whatever I can but I am recording bobsledding and luge because those two are awesome.  And hockey, of course.

  • I'm 24% into Prodigy by Marie Lu. I'm liking it so far. It's #11 for my goal of 40. I'm not really excited for these Olympics.
@ChristyDM82 I really like this series!  The third book is next on my list.

  • I'm 72% into Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi. On one hand, I don't want it to be over, but on the other hand, I'm anxious to finish so I can start Alienated.

I'm listening to The Golem and the Jinni, which is not action packed, but still a beautiful story.

I want to do a Daughter of Smoke and Bone reread soon too before Dreams of Gods and Monsters comes out.

She tells such a great story.  I love sitting down with one of her novels because it's a completely immersing experience for me.

  • Just finished The Cold Dish by Craig Johnson and have started Death Without Company. These are the books that the TV show Longmire is based on. They are so good! And different! It occurred to me that you don't see close friendships between men very often (or at least in the books I tend to read).
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

I'm reading Orange is the New Black and Beautiful Chaos (Beautiful Creatures #3). I'm listening to Allegiant.
I'm normally not into the Winter Olympics too much but I'm watching it a little more this year. I really enjoy curling.
