  I don't blame you at all for being freaked out. And don't ever feel bad for calling the docs office. Feel free to call the re today too. I'm really hoping it's just your body reacting to coming off the progesterone. Don't take any chances. See the re if your obgyn doesn't satisfy your fears.

  Sorry for taking so long to update, but I'm finally home and sitting still.

  
  

  DH picked me up from work around 1 and I had the appt with my OB nurse scheduled for 2:30. Almost half an hour later, I finally got called back. OB nurse asked what was up, and did a quick physical check. She did note a small amount of active bleeding from my cervix, but said it was a very small amount, a "slow ooze." From what she could see, my cervix looked fine and everything felt okay.

  
  

  She pulled out the Doppler, and thank GOD was able to find baby's heart beat. It sounded perfect.

  
  

  And then we found out we caught the u/s tech before she'd left for the afternoon!! They'd been trying to squeeze me in, but hadn't been able to, so they managed to catch her after her last appt to see me before heading out. 

  
  

  She couldn't find any reason for my bleeding, and she did a lot of looking around for it. She took a bunch of fetal measurements, and baby is measuring right on track. Heart beat was at 175, so all is good there.

  
  

  Finally, I ran over to the lab place to get my HCG and progesterone drawn. They won't get those results until Monday. 

  
  

  So, for now, I just need to let the bleeding work its way out and try not to worry too much, especially since baby is looking totally fine. 

  
  

  So now I'm home, I've got a huge cup of water, my feet are up on the couch, and I'm going to find something to watch while DH finally gets some sleep (he'd been up for snow plowing duties since midnight and is totally exhausted).

  
  

  Question: I have about 4 leftover progesterone supps that were extra from when they told me to stop taking them (went down from 2/day to 1/day a week ago, and stopped taking them Wednesday night at 11w). Because I have some extras, do you think I should use them over the weekend, just in case?

  I would not use the progesterone. Your doctors told you to stop them. And if they were the cause of this bleeding you could have another episode when you stop them again.

  I'm so glad everything looked good. I know it's crazy tempting to take the progesterone, but I'd hold off just for now. If ANYTHING ELSE changes call them back and ask if you should start up again. In the end you'll do What you feel is best, I can't tell you. I'm a bad patient and would totally be considering it, but looney is probably right about it causing the bleed after you went off and I'd hate for you to be scared twice. Don't be afraid to call the after hours line.

  I'm so glad you were able to hear the heart beat and get an u/s! That is the best peace of mind. I don't have any advice on the progesterone, but I can't say that thought wouldn't have crossed my mind if I was in your situation. I would honestly call the OB/nurse to see if this was an option though, but not take it unless they give you the green light. I hope you're able to take it very easy and that the bleeding is completely gone soon! Like many other ladies have said, bleeding is fairly common - I have a good friend who bled all through 1st tri and had multiple u/s's and appointments and each time everything was fine. They had no explanation for it.

  I'm glad everything looked good at your appointment. I would not use the rest of your progesterone. You could end up irritating your cervix or cause another bleeding episode like looney said.
