  • The only new development is officially hiring our nanny, other than that everything is the same. We are totally done with all preparations but being mentally prepared is something else. I have no idea how to mentally prepare yourself for two babies. At my last ultrasound both babies were about 4lbs and measuring near the 80%. I'm 32 weeks but my belly is measuring 37-38 weeks. I'm HUGE and exhausted all the time but also getting more excited.

I don't think you can ever be fully prepared! When A and S were both in the NICU, I desperately wanted them home. When they told us A would be discharged in a couple of days, we went into panic mode, lol. We weren't ready and they were four weeks old when A came home, 5.5 weeks when S came home. You just do what you can. It's nerve-wracking but you can do it. :)

  • @madeline10L and @MRads - DH and I both really want a girl. I've never imagined having anything else, so that's the only reason I'm "feeling" girl. I've had two dreams LO was a boy and one he/she was a girl.  Of course we'll be thrilled either way and I feel a lot of guilt for wanting a girl so bad, but that's just how I feel.  Most of the old wives tales point to girl, but I know G-d has a sense of humor, so I guess we'll see.

You two are literally the only ones who have guessed boy so far!
