edited March 2014 in Getting Pregnant

If you have any changes to this list, wish to be removed, added, or have graduated (yay!), please shoot me a PM.

FYI: We don't want to exclude some ladies, but this is a check in for ladies who are unfortunately having trouble trying to conceive (TTTC=3T). If you've been trying for more than a year and/or have been diagnosed with any form of infertility OR are now pursuing adoption or have decided to remain childless following a 3T journey, you are welcome to join us.

Updates: Ok ladies... where are we at this week? Testing, Procedures, Appointments, Adoption updates, Life updates? What’s going on, etc. Let's hear all about it!

  • Nothing new here. Still in a 2ww.

Not really superstitious. I do believe that there is a reason for everything.

Updates: Nothing new really. Still in another 2WW (CD1 should be on Sunday or Monday, I think). I still have a couple more labs to get drawn (RE is doing major work-up to try to figure out reason for DOR and IF). A little annoyed because 6 of the 17 vials that were drawn last week had to be thrown out because the lab didn't call the transport soon enough to get them to where they needed to be. I'll be having that redrawn today and a couple other labs. Then, just my CD3 labs. Hoping to get some answers soon!

    QOTW: Nah.

FFC: So, there is this person at work who got pregnant soon after when DH and I were trying with meds and IUI and failed. I don't work with her or really even talk to her. In addition, she is constantly peeing all over the toilet seat in the bathroom we all share (g-r-o-s-s). Needless to say, I'm not her biggest fan. Well, today, other folks I work with threw her a baby shower. I was considering chipping in for a gift, until I found out that she is registered at 3 different places (which seems a bit pretentious and greedy, if you ask me). My DH suggested that I purchase adult diapers for her as a gift, lol. Now, the girl I share an office with (who knows about my IF issues and also doesn't really like her) and I are closed in our office and avoiding the party altogether. :)

Those of you ladies in your 2WW (i.e., @sweetpotato123@brij2006, @amandaf6383), I have everything crossed for you! And if things don't work out this go around, congrats on O'ing at least! Keep up the great work!

    Happy anniversary, @RockABye

  • @zamboni00 - nah, not really. We've toyed with the idea of going somewhere, but I think we'll probably end up just staying home and doing a few touristy things. There's not even any good shows or anything in our area next weekend though! :( We really need to spend some days doing house stuff, so maybe we'll install our backsplash and unpack some more. We've been unpacking since um, September so we really need to make some headway in that department.

  • ILoveRedVino  I feel that way too- like if it were to happen by 'accident' for us after all of those IUIs and IVFs I think it would be pretty funny.

  • @brij2006 yay for the diet working and o'ing on your own!
@amandaf6383 awesome work with the weight loss!
@looneylife so glad your insurance paid more!!! That is such a nice surprise!
@rockabye 9 years is great! Happy anniversary!
@zamboni00 so happy that these nice things are working out for you! Fingers crossed for the Clomid to work!

Nothing really new here. Towards the end of the 2ww. Waiting for cd1 to go pick up the prescription of Clomid, but praying I won't have to. Counting down the days until I leave for Florida with my mom and sister! 7days!

QOTW: I don't really consider myself superstitious. My dad is so superstitious about sports that I can occasionally see a method to his madness.

Cinnabun and Junebug say, "Go Wildcats!"

  • First, love and hugs to all you wonderful women. FX for you ladies in the 2WW, I will never give up hope for any of you!

Updates: Today will be my 4th inject of Bravelle for attempt 2 at IUI 1. Ordering a second batch of meds sucked.
QOTW: I'm not really superstitious. But I can be when there are a lot of coincidences around the same time as each other for me.

FFC/AW: Sorry I've been a bit MIA the last couple days. My FIL had open heart surgery on Tuesday and it's been quite a rough and stressful few days since. We knew he was having the surgery for an enlarged aorta and possible leaking mechanical valve but it was so much worse than we all (including the doctor) expected. He had a 6cm aortic aneurism and a stitch from his mechanical valve came out and his heart was pumping blood out a hole that shouldn't have been there. The doctor repaired it all and even showed us pictures and said he should recover well. It was all just so scary and stressful. Then FIL went into a-fib last night for no reason and we're now just hoping it was a fluke. So, now you know more than you ever wanted about my MIA-ness the past couple days.
