  • I am finishing up Cress and loving it, The Lunar Chronicles may be my new favorite series.

I am listening to Doctor Sleep and hoping to finish that up as well.

  • I'm listening to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for a complete HP re-read.  I love it even more the 2nd time around.

I'm almost done with The Last Letter from Your Lover by Jojo Mayes.  I really enjoyed this one.

I'm also reading The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt.  It's a little slow moving for me but overall I'm enjoying it.

These are #29-31 out of 100 for the year.

  • I'm listening to Reaver by Larissa Ione.  #20

I finished Panic by Lauren Oliver last night, but I haven't picked out a new one yet.

  • I am almost done A Storm of Swords.  I am also reading Lover Avenged and Pretty Little Secrets. I am enjoying them all so it's taking me awhile to get through them as I only read one for a little bit at a time because I can't decide which one I want to read the most!

They are #14 - 16 for the year, I think.

  • I'm reading Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3), Shadow of Night, Orange is the New Black, and listening to Gone Girl (reread). All of them are really good but I have too many going at one time. Library holds always come in at the same time!

They will be 5-7 for the year.

  • I'm trying to read Vampire Academy. I having trouble getting into it but I've heard great reviews about the series! I am also waiting for the goldfinch from the library to read for my IRL book club.
  • Currently working on the following:

    1.  The Harding Era: Warren G. Harding and his Administration by Robert K. Murray.  It is horrible and boring.  But I am almost done (thank the lord).

    2.  We The Drowned by Carsten Jensen.  This is going to be good, I can just feel it.  I am less than 100 pages in, but I just have a feeling about this one.

    3.  The Golden Lily (Bloodlines #2) by Richelle Mead.  Sydney bugs the crap out of me, but I will put up with her annoying-ness for a glimpse or two of Dimitri.

These are books #30-32 for the year.

  • I am reading Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson. I am about halfway through and it has been amazing. It is the second novel in The Stormlight Archive. It is so good that I don't want to put it down. It is somewhere around forty for the year.

    And?

So far so good.  I'm about a third in.  It's following pretty closely to her typical, but I like er typical so it works!  That and I love Reaver and Harvester so it HAS to be good. :)

@beebee918 - I listened to The Shining last fall to refresh my memory in anticipation of Doctor Sleep.  I was thinking of listening to Doctor Sleep, too.  How do you like it as an audiobook?
  • Finished listening to Code Name Verity last night, so it's still very much in my head and I feel like I'm still involved with it.  I loved it and already started a separate thread about that (with spoilers).  5 stars.

I started listening to The Botany of Desire by Michael Pollan this morning.  I'm a gardener and biologist at heart, so I love this book.  It's a reread in anticipation of WBN, when I'll be giving this away.  I'm listening to it now with that in mind, and scared that no one is going to want it, even for free.  I feel like it's going to be a hard sell for WBN.  But I like it a lot.

I'm STILL reading John Adams by David McCullough.  I really love this book, but it's taking me forever to get through.  I'm already over 4 weeks into it.  I think I have about 150 pages left.  maybe one more week.  So far, though, 5 stars.

Adams is for the Presidential Challenge, but no other goals or challenges.  These are books 13 and 14 for the year.
  • I'm reading HP6 (reread) and loving it, of course.  Also reading Morning Glory by Sarah Jio which I'm also enjoying.  They are 11 and 12 of 52 for the year.

I didn't love it as much as I was hoping to.  I gave it 3.5 stars.  It had a few flaws that made me not be able to enjoy it as much as I'd have liked to.  I think if you don't mind the flaws that I did, it would be a really great book.

The Magicians by Lev Grossman.  I discovered it on the list that one of you posted a week or so ago that said if you liked X book as a kid you'll like Y book as an adult.  This was recommended for HP fans.  So far I'm enjoying it but I'm only 12% in.

I like Adrian but he is a bit to EMO for me.  I can't be inflating his ego all the time when he gets into a mood.  Too much work.

    Besides, Dimitri is 6' 7".
