  I would just suggest bringing some paper to take notes or take some in your phone. My first appointment had so much information if I hadn't written some of it down I would have forgotten it later.

  I agree, bring something to take notes. They will probably ask you all kinds of questions (have you ever had an STD, has hubby ever been kicked in the balls really hard etc.) so be prepared for those. I would ask about all testing, timelines for the tests and if/when you will have a plan. Good luck.

  Good luck tomorrow! No specific advice; the first time the RE saw me, she just asked lots of background questions (my situation was very different, but I think a lot of what she went over was probably the same anyway).

  Good luck! Definitely bring something for note taking, and be ready to discuss your sex life with a complete stranger. Did you fill out any paperwork about family history yet? Our appointment was just going over that with follow-up questions.

  Good luck!  Our first appointment was just going over all of our history with the doctor and getting the initial testing set up.  We also met with our nurse and a financial advisor.  Once all of our testing was done we went back in and met with the doctor again to go over results and establish a plan.

  
  

  I really don't think I asked very many questions during our first visit, it was mainly the doctor and nurse talking, providing me with a folder full of information so I didn't have to take notes on everything and getting things set up.  The questions really came down the line a bit for me.

  

  
  

  TTC since March 2012 w/irregular and anovulatory cycles.  

  Moved to an RE October 2013  HSG- All clear , S/A- Normal , Bloodwork -Normal

  Uterine polyp found-  Hysteroscopy and D&C 12/6/13  DX w/complex endometrial hyperplasia

  Endometrial Biopsy 3/21/14 - Hyperplasia still present  Endometrial Biopsy #2 6/24/14 - All clear!

  IUI #1  w/stims and trigger - Started stims 7/7/14 - IUI 7/24/14 = BFP 8/7/14

  Beta #1 8/8 - 47  Beta#2 -137  Beta#3 - 96 Beta#4 -287 Beta#5 -519 Beta#6 121 = early miscarriage 5w4d

  For me, I had to write out all if my history (surgeries, procedures, family hx, etc) in advance because I always manage to forget something that might be important. Otherwise, I agree with everything else that PP's have already listed. Good luck!

  The first appointment was very general. The doctor just explained what tests were required. She went through general fertility issues. I brought my charts and she did look at them and put them in my file. She gave me paperwork to sign. I had bloodwork right then (amh) that didn't depend on cycle day. I then went back on CD3. DH didn't come with me, but he came to the next appointment and he got his AIDS test then so they would proceed.
  
  I remember getting a folder with lots of info and pricing, etc. There are also workshops, lectures and support groups.

  Diagnosed with Severe DOR at 31 years old (AMH .14 FSH 9.8) 

  D & L are here at 34 weeks 4 days by vaginal and breech delivery on 11/19/2013

  Yeah, they'll ask you how often you're having sex, if you think you're ovulating/unless they already have records, what supplements you're taking, if DH is taking anything. How much you drink, smoke, rec drug use. Etc. I would want to know up front their timeline for any testing and how they will get the results to you. Very important. I've heard of some very lackadaisical test reporting. Also, who will perform the tests (your doc, a different doc, etc). How quickly they get bloodwork back normally. If I think if anything else I'll write more

  Well no one was kidding when they said I'd walk away with a FOLDER of info! Jeeeez. I had some bloodwork done for thyroid, hiv, etc. DH needs to go in a do the HIV/AIDS bw and sign the consent forms.
  I will be doing the progesterone BW DPO7 which is in April. Other than that we have to wait to see if this cycle works, if it doesn't then I am to plan a HSG for April and then move onto IUI the next cycle. So it looks like nothing crazy is going to be happening until April/May.
  But if we do have to go the route of medicated anything it is going to be an IUI.
