2) What was your first favorite song? Probably Thriller by Michael Jackson.
3) First favorite book? I had a few favorites. The Cricket in Times Square, The Trumpet of the Swan, Stuart Little, Charlotte's Web, etc.
4) What was a childhood hobby or activity you did regularly? I was in everything as a kid. Girl Scouts, Band, Choir, Softball ...
2) What was your first favorite song? I was a big Dolly Parton fan when I was really little. There was some song about waiting at a train station or something like that. I loved it. Listened on repeat at like 3 years old.
3) First favorite book? The first I can remember is Where the Red Fern Grows
4) What was a childhood hobby or activity you did regularly? I danced, swam, played piano, took riding lessons and went to Awanas. I also played softball in the summer.

3) First favorite book? ?? Again, who remembers? Maybe a Nancy Drew? Though my first distinct memory of a book that left a mark was for The Picture of Dorian Gray.
4) What was a childhood hobby or activity you did regularly? Dance and gymnastics. Dance was my life growing up.

4) What was a childhood hobby or activity you did regularly? I grew up on a lake, so I swam in the summer from sun up to sun down. I wasn't part of any structured activities until high school.

2. MJ's Thriller was my first tape, and I remember dancing like crazy to the whole thing. My favorite song was probably Bad.
3. I had all of the Mr. and Little Miss books. My girls have them now.
4. I collected things. Anything. Everything. Minerals, leaves, books that looked cool, scissors, science stuff. I had them categorized and labeled, and would change displays regularly like my room was a museum. I keep a couple of them up today, but most have been relegated to garage sales or my parent's attic.

@julie37619 Kiddie horse nerds unite! I had brief dreams of becoming a jockey too. Did you read the Thoroughbred series by Joanna Campbell? Man, I wanted to be a girl jockey so badly but sadly I grew too tall.
Did you read the Black Stallion series? I read everything by Walter Farley.Or what about The Saddle Club series? I desperately wanted to be friends with Carole, Stevie, and Lisa! Saddle Club! I also did the Thoroughbred series and The Black Stallion series. And every My Friend Flicka movie. And National Velvet. And everything else Marguerite Henry wrote. I was obsessed.

@julie37619 Marguerite Henry was brilliant. BRILLIANT. I think it was Black Gold that introduced me to Thoroughbred racing. She really opened a door for me.
