I've spent the morning trying to talk to American Express Merchant Services and I want to go to their call center and punch Paul in the face. He was so unhelpful and clearly wasn't listening to me.

Cold sores suck! Have you tried the Polysporin cold sore patches? They do a decent job of covering them up and making them heal faster than anything else.

I am on vacation from work and it started yesterday. It has been so overwhelming and frustrating lately so this recharge is just what I needed. Plus, it's spring break, so I have no homework to worry about and along with other things I am getting accomplished, I am getting in as much reading time as I can. This time off is glorious.

It's not my typical genre of music, so I caught it while flipping channels. It's just that I've heard so much about it that my friends were amazed I hadn't heard it yet. Guess that's what I get for solely listening to talk radio or the alternative rock station.

I hate this song. I probably dislike it because it's on all the time but I'm pretty sure that isn't it. Pretty sure I just hate it. I also HATE that stupid hat he wears all the time. When I saw he was selling it for charity I was happy lol, until I found out he owned it in 2 billion different colors. Ugh.

I usually really like Pharrell, I think he's super talented. But this song just gets under my skin!

Did you know that Pharrell is 40?! He looks younger than me. I'm pretty sure he's a genius, though.

I bought new nail polish yesterday. The bottle looked like the color I wanted (really dark red). I put the polish in this morning and it's MUCH lighter. I'm annoyed. I probably have 5 bottles of a similar color. All I wanted was a dark red!!! OPI and I are fighting.

I've not heard the song all the way through yet. I think they play it in the Fiat commercial with Diddy (or whatever he calls himself today). I listen to Alt Rock and Classic Rock stations primarily. Also, I cannot deal with the Arby's hat he's been wearing. He looks like Dudley Do Right.

Aww, I like that hat! I think it's stuff like that that makes him look so much younger. I generally listen to books in my car, and if T is in the car with me, then it's either classic rock, alt rock, or something on my phone.

Another couple of music randoms - One day last week, I spent our whole drive to the babysitter's house trying to call in a request to the classic rock station because T was whining that she wanted to hear Ruby Tuesday by the Rolling Stones and I didn't have it in my phone. She's also been singing Redemption Song by Bob Marley to put herself to sleep at night lately. These things make me feel good about my parenting skills.

@susiebw - When my girls were babies Vaseline by the Flaming Lips was the only song I knew all of the words to, and I would sing it to them as a lullaby. Now they sing it to their baby dolls.

I had to google Pharrell to see what he looks like.
