I'm at a loss for a funny picture this week.  This is all I could come up with.  If you can think of something better, post a pic with your confession!

Re: FRIDAY CONFESSIONS

  • I am ready to go postal.  I was suppose to get my new phone delivered today and I just went to track it and the tracking says it will be delivered on Monday! WTF????????????? I am soooooooooo beyond furious.  I can't live through the weekend without a cell phone.  Cell phone companies suck major ass and I ready to blow some shit up.

  • I work in admissions at a hospital now and one little girl born this week they named "Magic". This makes me so sad. I want to go and talk the parents out of it.
(This in no way tops the worst name I've ever seen given to a child which is and will forever probably be "Shithead" pronounced sha-theed. People are seriously crazy.)

@booneybear RAAAAAAAAAAAGE! Can you call a store and see if the tracking info is jacked up or something?
    image imageimage
  • @MrsC7 At this point I am so done with dealing with the cell phone company that if I had to talk to anyone there I would just lose my shit and burn the store down after chaining the employees to the desk so they couldn't escape.  I just want my goddamn phone and I want it right now!

  • Aww @booneybear that sucks!  If they told you Friday it should be Friday!

I don't think I have a confession. At least not one I am sharing.

I had a classmate in college who was called Latrina...I don't think her parents thought that one through at all.  And DH and I were watching a singer on Live from Lincoln Center whose name is Patina, as in tarnish.  Again, c'mon parents!

If you watch the video that the local newspaper filmed, it turns out there was a typo on the tattoo receipt that they didn't notice until after it was tattooed on his arm!

  • I beyond excited about getting a washer and dryer tomorrow.  I am so glad I don't have to use a laundromat any longer.  I plan on washing everything this weekend.

I just gave a co-worker the death stare when she asked me, "Do I really need to use the tongs in that bowl of chips?"  Why do I need to explain to a professional why there's tongs in the bowl of chips?

My response was, "I don't know where your hands have been."  Total straight face.

  • My kindle is dying. I had to reset it twice yesterday to turn it on. I told DH I'd use my credit card rewards all towards our trip to Europe this summer but I think I'm going to use some of them on a Paperwhite and not tell him.

  • I'm cleaning out my office files under the guide of "spring cleaning" but in reality it's because I have a second job interview next week for a position I really want and I'm trying to make the transition as easy as possible on myself. I've already emptied 4 binders with notes from old projects- like from 2011 or before.

I'm going to reorganize one of our closets this weekend, and I'm really looking forward to it. DH has turn it into a dumping ground and I can barely open the door now. I'm planning on a lot of recycling and putting together a really big bag for Goodwill.

  • I am so pissed off at Sprint right now.  We have them for our cell phones and have been customers for 3 years.  On Wednesday I received a text saying to call a phone number regarding one of our numbers that was going to get disconnected.  I ended up calling and was told that my husband has been excessively roaming (he is a lineman so often travels to more rural areas outside out coverage area) and because of that they are cancelling his phone number, which means he has to go to a new carrier.  They told us about the roaming usage last February, but we thought we had fixed the problem because we haven't heard anything since (it's been over a year), but apparently as of May 6th, he will no longer have a phone.  After talking to three different Sprint people, they basically said there is nothing that can be done because it is already in the system..  I told them that that means we will all be transferring because we are a "family," and they said they understood, but I am so pissed.  SPRINT SUCKS!

  • We just back from Spring Training in Mid March, and we are going to  Disneyland and a Dodger game the first week of May. We are also going to Arizona and San Diego for  SF Giants games in September. And Disneyland again in November. I love having been at our jobs long enough to get lots of vacation, and I love having so much to look forward to!

I can't wait to get a pineapple Churro to dip in a Dole Whip at Disneyland!!!

  • @Srodi811 -- we switched from Sprint several years ago after some bouts with bad customer service.  Honestly though, I think all cell phone companies spend too much time culling new customers and not enough time trying to keep the ones they have.  They're all sprinkles and unicorns until they find out they've already got the business, then they turn into evil trolls.  When you announce you're leaving they don't even try to change your mind?  Unforgivable.

I for sure thought when I told them they would be losing all of us (we have three on our plan), they would change their minds.  Ridiculous.  Oh well, good riddance to them.  I just hate having to go deal with setting up new plans.

  • Random Question: How fast does your metabolism kick into gear after you start exercising? I haven't exercised in a while (read: nearly at all since having Wes) and this week I'm been out almost every day.  Yesterday and today I've been starving.  This is mere curiosity, though I'm finding it hard to stuff myself with good stuff instead of crap so I don't undo any work that I've been doing.

  • I had a blood draw today for lab work and they sprung a urine sample on me. I had to fast for the blood draw, so I hadn't even had water all am. And I can NOT pee on demand. I have the shyest bladder on the block. I stood in the hallway pounding shots of water and then occupied the bathroom for a good 10 min. NOTHING. I finally got out like a trickle of pee and then ran out the door. They will probably not be able to do anything with it, but I had to GTFO of that bathroom.

  • The radiology tech thought I called her a bitch today.  She was putting in an IV and it hurt like a, well, you know...and so I said Son of a Bitch but only Bitch came out audibly.  Well, I apologized profusely and explained, and we all had a laugh, but I was embarrassed because I can't say I've ever had the nerve to call anyone a bitch to their face.
