Re: ~~Mommy & M2B Monday~~
Our Little Raspberry-Born 3/27/12
We Said I Do 09/06/09
@BreMae - We're almost EDD buddies. Unofficially I'll be around 12-8-14.
@saisongbird - Good luck!!! Can't wait to 'meet' your little diva!
For Mommies-to-be:
How many weeks are you? 5w
When is your EDD? Unofficially 12/8
How are you feeling? Sleepy with waves of nausea but overall really good (knock on wood).
What are you craving? Ice cream.
What is grossing you out? Meat in general and sour candy (which used to be my favorite...I'd be ok if that gross feeling stuck with me after pregnancy since I eat way too much candy!
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Nope! Nothing until after the 1st tri.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? First prenatal appointment is May 1st. I'm trying not to get my hopes up to hear a heartbeat because I've heard my OB doesn't do that until after 12 weeks. Boo!
Have you / will you found out the sex? We will.
Any names picked out? Girl first name is pretty well locked, boy names will be hard.
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? Get me through the next 7 weeks (not that I'm counting or anything...)
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Nothing more than a whine that we lost the house we were buying on the day that we were set to close and now have to start over. So not feeling our realtor but we're stuck in a contract for a while still.
B/w 1/8: betas 17,345, progesterone 25.6
LOs Age(s): 7 weeks. Time is flying!
Best part of your week? E is really alert. I enjoy watching him explore the world.
Worst part of your week? We went to a wedding on Saturday. I didn't hold my baby all day. Family just took him or passed him around without my knowing or asking me. I was a mess by the end of the night.
Milestones? Social smiles!
PIP those kiddos!
Baby E born: 2/16/2014 at 12:56pm. 5lb 15oz
For Mommies-to-be:
I'm going to play this week!
How many weeks are you? 5w6d
When is your EDD? Dec 3!
How are you feeling? Good. A bit bloated, sore boobies and super tired at night, but I'll take it all so really good.
What are you craving? Nothing
What is grossing you out? I gagged emptying the garbage, and my sense of smell is out of controle so I'm convinced there is a dead mouse in our basement so I won't go in there.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Nope, but I looked longingly at baby clothes at Target last night
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Beta from 04/02 (approx 4.5-5w) at 750. I have my early u/s and another beta tomorrow. Hoping to see a yolk sac and maybe a flickering heart beat - maybe?? FX.
Have you / will you found out the sex? Want to keep it a surprise this time since it is likely our last.
Any names picked out? I have a running list that I add to but we haven't even discussed it and won't for a long time.
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? N/A
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? If anyone remembers my story about the rainbow from the last bfp that ended as a CP, I just wanted to add that I recently looked at the photo of the rainbow and realized there was actually two! One was full and big, and there was a much more faded smaller one next to it. I can't help but wonder if the small one was the CP and this one is the big beautiful healthy rainbow I was hoping for.
Already Mommies:
LOs Age(s): 2yrs, 1 month
Best part of your week? All the sick cuddles I've been getting from a boy who normally won't sit still.
Worst part of your week? DS has pink eye, a cold, a cough, and is teething his two yr molars. And DH is sick too so no help there. Enough said.
Milestones? He sang his ABCs and Happy Birthday by himself last night out of no where. And did a pretty good job! I was shocked!
TTC#1 July 2010 PCOS dx April 2011 DS born: February 21, 2012

How many weeks are you? 17 weeks today
When is your EDD? 9/16
How are you feeling? Feeling great, tired, but great.
What are you craving? Corn flakes, english muffins, and apples
What is grossing you out? nothing right now.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? I went to a consignment shop on Friday night and spent $118 worth of stuff for both Lexi and baby. Scored a bouncer for $15, some pajamas, a boppy cover, and an outfit. Lexi picked out a few toys for baby too.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? I just had my appointment yesterday. Baby's heart rate was 156 and strong. My next appointment is May 5, which is both my OB appointment and my a/s. My endocrinologist appointment went okay. Told her about my blood pressure issues and she told me to stay hydrated, avoid hot showers (FWP! No!) and eat snacks throughout the day. I now have to have blood work done once a month since my platelets were down. I see her again in 10 weeks. I also gained 2 pounds since my last appointment, bringing me to a total of 10 pounds gained since i was 4 weeks.
Have you / will you found out the sex? We will on May 5 if LO cooperates.
Any names picked out? Tristan Ryse & Eliana Marie
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? No nursery until we buy a home next year. Baby will sleep in my room.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Nope.
Already Mommies:
LOs Age(s): 4 years old
Best part of your week? Lexi had a really great weekend. She did have a meltdown on Friday so I took away the toy that caused the meltdown and refused to give it to her until she finished her breakfast on Saturday. She spent the rest of the day in a great mood, and even worked on her patience when her toy wouldn't cooperate. She went right up to me and asked, "Mommy, could you please fix this?" I praised her for her great behavior.
Worst part of your week? Just the meltdown on Friday, but other than that, it was a fairly great weekend.
Milestones? Lexi working on her patience is a big step up.
PIP those kiddos!
For Mommies-to-be:
How many weeks are you? 26w 5d
When is your EDD? 7/10
How are you feeling? Physically, I feel great.... Mentally, I'm stressed and exhausted
What are you craving? Sugar and french fries (because I just started to smell them.)
What is grossing you out? nothing really
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? My sister came to visit this weekend and brought me a bunch of plastic ware (bowls, utensils, etc.) and clothes. LO won't fit into the clothes for a few years (my nieces are 7 and 4, so she just started saving what no longer fits), but I'm not worried about anything she gave me going out of style. She also brought the CD for her becco carrier, but forgot the actual carrier lol.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Glucose test on 4/24
Have you / will you found out the sex? Girl!
Any names picked out? Delilah Rose
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? Now that we finally have a nursery (we closed yesterday!), I can't wait to get it set up. Not much will happen besides paint for a while, though. Going to see what we get at my showers before buying anything.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Nope!
LOs Age(s): 11 weeks
Best part of your week? Tonight, Colin and I skyped with DH who is traveling. Colin was so happy to see him he pulled my phone closer to his face. Melted my heart! Also, I have a second interview tomorrow!
Worst part of your week? I had another seizure... I was in the car with FIL when it happened
Milestones? Colin now smoothly follows objects by turning his head and has going his voice. He does NOT stop babbling. Ever.
PIP:
DH caught the skype on his phone
@pennstated912 - Sorry to hear about your seizure. I hope they get everything regulated and working well for you again. I can't imagine.
