Best part of your week? Watching A and my dad together on Saturday. He would whistle and she'd look up with this big grin on her face.
Worst part of your week? I've been pretty stressed trying to balance home and work lately and it's really getting to me.
Milestones? A's started to get the hang of waving and it makes me smile to see her try.

How are you feeling? Physically...fine. Emotionally...I'm done. I'm sad, disappointed, and just so over it all.
What are you craving? An outside baby.
What is grossing you out? Nothing.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Nope.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Induction will be Thursday night at 9pm if he doesn't show before then. Nothing else is scheduled.
Have you / will you found out the sex? Boy.......a very stubborn little boy.

Anything else you would like to add or PIP? I was able to get a pedicure on Saturday. That was nice.

How are you feeling? Like garbage. I caught my step son's nasty cold. Can't breathe, runny nose, coughing, sore throat... all the fun stuff. And of course I probably over did it at the new house this weekend. I helped DH paint and steam two layers of hideous wallpaper off the kitchen walls. I rarely take meds but I'd kill for some Dayquill right now. Anyone know of anything safe to take besides Tylenol?
What are you craving? Devil Dogs (which I don't usually like that much) and fro yo.

I thought it was the one room I didn't need to paint but decided the color was a few shades darker than what I really want, plus the old owners did a hack job around the ceiling and it's driving me nuts.

How are you feeling? So tired. I couldn't sleep last night because the heartburn was so bad. And I have apparently had too much salt lately because my hands and feet are so swollen. I can't even wear my wedding rings :-(

Best part of your week? My mom is in town and I'm enjoying spending time with her.
Worst part of your week? H left for japan on Thurs for 10 days. We all miss him.
Milestones? Zack has taken a few steps now. 1 1/2 steps the first time, then 3, then 5. He's getting close!! He still loves waving and saying bye bye, claps when you say yay, and high fives.
PIP those kiddos! It was over 70 yesterday and Delilah had fun playing in a fountain, but then she was soaked and I didn't have a spare shirt for her, so I got creative and gave her mine. Here's the before and after of that.
And zack learned he could use things as step stools so he could reach more and get into more trouble. He also learned to open cabinets. We're in trouble.
Question for both: What are you most looking forward to for summer? Zack's first birthday, baseball games, taking the kids swimming, and just enjoying the weather.

Best part of your week? Going to the lake with my family yesterday.
Worst part of your week? Our truck, which I use as my daily vehicle, is currently up on jacks because one of the wheel bearings is broken, which means very dangerous to drive until it's fixed...luckily I am able to borrow my youngest sisters car (she's only got her permit right now so it's nbd).
Milestones? Adalyn has 2 teeth, is rolling over/sitting like a pro and is lifting up on her hands and knees and even crawled a little bit (like one crawl, but it's a start!)

I'm not showing, not really sick, I have lost weight, and haven't started gaining yet, and I just worry that the baby stopped growing or something. I know this is irrational. I am chubby to begin with, and didn't expect to really show for another month or so, but I can't help but worry...
A friend keeps telling me I'm showing, and I don't have the heart to tell her I just like wearing my strechy maternity pants and having an excuse to let my gut out...my mom on the other hand who sees me regularly with my gut out can tell I look skinnier than normal...
ETA- This summer I am looking forward to going outside, and maybing hanging out on a deck that DH is supposed to build this spring...and our annual vacation to the cape!

Anything else you would like to add or PIP? I had a mental breakdown on Friday (see below). DH finally understood what I am going through with Lexi's tantrums. He works so much that he only spends at most 2 hours with her each night during the week so he doesn't see what I have to put up with. He picked her up after work on Saturday and took her out to give me some alone time. I went shopping and got myself ice cream. It was the nicest feeling to just chill alone.

Best part of your week? She did really well on Saturday and Sunday, and was in a very good mood all day. I just love seeing her get excited about things.
Worst part of your week? She had tantrums all day Friday. It started when she got up until she went to bed. I ended up having a mental breakdown because of it. She was put to bed early as punishment. I guess it worked since she was extremely nice all weekend.

How are you feeling? Tired...I did almost nothing but relax and nap this weekend when I wasn't playing for the musical. I've started to have a little swelling in my feet and ankles too and last night I had horrible heartburn. Other than that, not too bad! Oh, very hot today. I seriously wish I could be naked right now that is how warm I am.
What are you craving? Nothing

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? MIL brought a bassinet that she bought and more yard sale clothes. My shower is may 3 so we are waiting until then to buy anything else.

Best part of week-Ava Nichol is totally obsessed with Grandpa (my step dad) she has worn him down and now he needs a break. She says Grandpa, hold me! He us such a pushover and does whatever she wants but It is so sweet!
Worst part of week-I got close to Ava Nichol for the first time since my surgery Thursday and she dropped her elbow straight on my boob and down my incision. It immediately swelled and I screamed and she almost started crying. I miss my baby and just want to pick her up and cuddle.
Milestones-New words every day. She repeats everything we say like a little parrot.
QOTW-I am looking forward to the warmth and being outside without allergies! Going on walks, going to the park, swimming at the lake, and all of Ava Nichol's cute little summer dresses!

LOs Age(s): 28weeks
Best part of your week? Getting to the park on the nicer days we had! Also, we're working on sleep training, and he's done SO well. I'm finally getting some solid sleep, which has helped me out so much mentally.
Worst part of your week? Having to hear him cry and cry every night has been rough. It got up to 80 yesterday and our house was pretty hot, and H didn't want to turn on the A/C, until he saw how crabby and uncomfortable W was when trying to fall asleep for his nap. A/C came on, it cooled off, and everyone was happier.
Milestones? He's sleeping in his crib at night AND for naps! He typically would only nap if I held him or if he was in the swing, so this is MAJOR!

What is grossing you out? Nothing here either. Even my random gagging has mostly subsided.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Nope. I know MIL has something for us but we haven't seen her to get it, so I have no idea what it is.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Monthly appt this Friday.
Have you / will you found out the sex? We will! We scheduled the A/S at our NT scan. It'll be May 23. Hopefully baby will be more cooperative for that one!

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? Still need to move the office before we can start the nursery. Good news is that the current office has pretty light green walls already, so we won't need to paint it.

How are you feeling? Exhausted.
What are you craving? Nothing
What is grossing you out? Still Pork. Even the thought of making anything with pork is gross.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? May 12th. It's killing me. I want to go in already!!

Pretty good! Achy back, but baths and heat help so it's not too bad. I'm starting to get a little more tired in the middle of the afternoon and in the evenings again.
What are you craving?
Food is still really good... I've been on a bagel and cream cheese kick for lunch the last couple of weeks and it still tastes amazing!

We got a changing table from my friend this weekend. It's in our house. The crib was delivered and we got that we up too. So weird!

I cleared out the closet and started hanging clothes, and we moved the guest bed out and into the office/new guest room. We're doing white furniture, and we have a crib and changing table in there!

Also, putting up the crib made it super real for DH that this is *our* baby, and his daughter. He's been cute about that

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? DH's college roommate bought us a Rock 'n' Play! They came in from out of town to visit and surprised us with one. Totally shocked but really really excited! I was going to register for one so now I won't have to.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Had an appointment this morning. HB @158, everything looked good! I feel like I've already put on a lot of weight (up 10 lbs pre-preg) but only gained 2lbs in the last month so I'm slowing down some, thank goodness!
