What's the most recent book purchase you've made?

I just bought The Secrets of Happy Families by Bruce Feiler. It's one of amazon's daily deals today.

  • I bought Twisted Sisters a while back because it was on $2.99 special from Kindle.  I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to spend my amazon credits on because frankly I'm more of a library person and I only buy books that I plan to read over and over.

  • I have two audible credits to spend, one of which is going to the Michael Connolly book I'm to read.

Last thing I picked up was The Uninvited Guests: A Novel by Sadie Jones.

    My favorite Cake Wreck ever.

  • I just bought The Stand--I couldn't resist when I realized it was only $5 on kindle! I haven't read it in years and am looking forward to revisiting it.

  • I bought the Rook & Ronin books last week when they were super cheap.  Yesterday I downloaded several free kindle books.  I've been trying not to spend money on books - that's my nod to attempting to keep a budget and I'm running out of space.

  • The last book I paid for was Susanna Kearsley's The Firebird. I also recently pre-ordered Stephanie Perkins' Isla and the Happily Ever After.

It has excellent reviews, so I'm looking forward to it.  Reading chronologically, though, I'm not going to get to it for quite a while - I'm only on Jefferson now.
  • I bought The Tales of Peter Rabbit last night.
  • The King by J.R. Ward
