Our dog has like five teeth. MiL suggested we prechew his food. Uh, no. And no to a kid's food too.

I haven't used tampons in almost a year (since our first failed IVF). My acu says no tampons while TTC because of the chemicals. Do I think that's the cause of our IF? No. But was I willing to try anything at that point? Sure was. It suuuuuuuucks though.

Softcups! Or any other menstrual cup. SO much more freaking comfortable and NO chemicals!

And no bulky pads, although I do wear a pantyliner my first couple of days since occasional leaks happen.

I actually bought a diva cup and have been too squicked out too actually use it. I'm sure once I get the hang of it, it'll be no big deal, but I need to talk myself into it.

Yeah, I think I'd have to work myself up to this. Honestly, my periods are so light it's not so bad using ultra thin pads, but I'd much rather use tampons.

I haven't tried the DivaCup yet. I like that Softcups come in a disposable option (wear it for 12 hours and throw it out rather than having to wash/sanitize). Maybe I'll eventually try to move to a more reusable type of cup, but for now, I still like just throwing that ish away when I'm done with it.

  • Unless these soft cups come with like a half cup option, they will not work for me. I'm not about to collect that stuff in a little cup nope. I shan't be converted.
  • I don't think I can bring myself to use a SoftCup or DivaCup, however I also feed like pads are giant diapers so I suppose it will continue to just be tampons.

  • @luckyangel07 contrary to my previous statement, can you explain to me how easy it is to use these cups? I happened upon them on Amazon, and see the reviews with several women saying they have really heavy periods. Also, how would they work with a job that you sit most of the day? Can they be worn overnight or no?
