No real update for me. Just waiting for my RE appointment next month.

QOTW: I'm terrible at this type of question. I did find out that I passed my competency today to be a certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist!!!! Such a relief that I don't have to record my sessions again!

This is the part where I hang my head. I didn't know what it was and what was going on (again another reason why I want to bring up sex at a younger age with my children). So I never said anything to my parents or anyone. Still to this day they do not know that it happened, and there were no charges pressed. He was 17 at the time. So he knew better.

Update - We've been emailing with an agency that I really like (national pool, refunds if BM backs out, we can say no to anything), but we just got the estimated budget. I nearly choked. It's an entire salary. Holy hell.

You have no reason to hang your head, lady. You were so young. You had no idea what he was doing, that it was wrong, or what should've happened to him. I probably would've done the same thing in your shoes. It's just a sad, sad situation

@brij I am so sorry that happened to you and that you had to face him later. Don't feel bad about not saying anything! You didn't know what was going on at the time and that it was wrong, so please don't beat yourself up about it!

I am proud of you for not being in jail for straight up murdering his ass. I am sorry.

@brij2006 - have you ever talked to a counselor about it? If I might be so bold to suggest it, if not, it might be helpful in figuring how how to deal with all the emotions I'm sure you have from that. That's a pretty heavy thing to grow up with. You wouldn't have to tell family or anyone else if you didn't feel like it, but just for yourself. ((hugs))

@rockabye I have actually done some research to find the best one to go to now that my new insurance covers it.

Unfortunately this has been part of why I'm choosing to stop TTC. I've never fully dealt with the emotional baggage that this and my abusive childhood has brought. It's always been something I've handled and moved on from. Then the emotions and heartbreak of 3T and losing 3 children happened, and the panic attacks started back up. Now I feel like it would be irresponsible for me to conceive a child before handling all of these things I've never fully dealt with.

I want to give each and every one of you girls a big huge hug. It means so much to hear others say that I am strong and an inspiration. It truly does keep me from not saying "F it" to the many things I keep fighting for.

Aw girl, I think you're making a very wise decision. I know it's not an easy one though. I hope you're able to find a great counselor to talk to and then get back to TTC soon, when you feel like you're in a better place. I'm proud of you for taking a step back and taking care of yourself.

I am sorry that I kept you all in the dark for so long....I reallllly wanted to share, but at the time our parents didn't even know. I didn't want to take the risk of a real life "friend" lurking, seeing the news, and then somehow telling my parents before we chose to. They know now, so I don't have to worry about someone squealing:)

I think we can all understand. I obviously shared here on the board, but we didn't tell any family we were doing another transfer. The disappointment factor you mentioned before was huge for us.

I know that none of us can take away the pain you experienced as a child (and the fact that you still have had to had contact with that disgusting individual) or the pain that IF is causing you currently, but please know you are in my thoughts. You are a beautiful person and deserve great things in your future. I hope counseling helps give you what you need moving forward.

@sweetpotato123... Congrats on the good results! I hope the upcoming lab work helps give you some answers about what might be going on to help you get your sticky baby. GL with your upcoming cycle!

@poppies717... Glad you found an agency you like, and I hope you and they will be able to figure out something for the budget side of things to make it happen.

Update for me: Nada... Still taking tons of meds, shots twice a day, weekly lab draws, etc. to get things in a better place to start with my IVF cycle. I have my next TNF draw 5/5, probably have to wait a week for results, and then if things are better, we may start towards the end of May. Since there was literally no improvement made in the 3-weeks prior with my TNF, I'm not holding my breath...

QOTW: I was married once before to an awful human being, and we had actually tried 2 cycles of IUI, which THANK GOD, were not successful. He had actually threatened to leave me if I wasn't pregnant by the end of the year that I ended up leaving his sorry ass (among may other terrible things that he did/was responsible for).

OB called to say that the SA was super low... My bloodwork came back with flying colors... Consult ASAP with both of us to figure out what is next....

Hmmm... I don't know what I've told you girls... Probably that I'm the youngest of three and there are 17 and 13 years between my siblings and I

FFC/AW of the Week (no rules): I am petrified of needles which is making me anxious of all the next steps...

Updates: DH is on board with adoption now, so I cancelled my meds and we are beginning that process. We haven't really told people yet, but we are camping with my parents this weekend, so I think I'll say something. QOTW: I really don't know...Im fairly open.
