I worry about that, too, but I figure that people will just start being mean to me to make me leave. ;-)

  • QOTW: I was married once before to an awful human being, and we had actually tried 2 cycles of IUI, which THANK GOD, were not successful. He had actually threatened to leave me if I wasn't pregnant by the end of the year that I ended up leaving his sorry ass (among may other terrible things that he did/was responsible for).
Holy shit! That is another heavy thing. I'm so glad you left his ass and found someone awesome.

Leaving him was literally the best life-saving decision of my life. Sorry to be so heavy! I'm very happily (and healthily) married now. :)

@brij2006. Hugs to you. I have no words. What a terrible thing to have to live with. Thank you for being brave and sharing.

    Married August 2009

    3 years. 5 losses.

Our rainbow baby boy born 11.16.15

  • We are still taking a break from all things baby related while we finish up purchasing our new home (yay!!!) and move/get settled in.

We are actually looking more into international adoption. There is a particular country that we are interested in and we would likely qualify once DH turns 30 next year. We are going to get settled into our new place and then evaluate.

QOTW: I used to struggle with an eating disorder. I am healthy now and have a very good relationship with food. However, I am naturally thin and sometimes self-conscience about my weight b/c I worry people will think I still have a food problem. Sometimes people comment with things like "I can hardly see you" and it really hurts. I've even had it suggested it to me that my thinness is the reason for my losses. Ouch.

    1) YAY on the house! I'm so glad you guys have your home and can get settled in and start pursuing your adoption journey again.

    2) I'm so sorry you have to hear comments like that regarding your body. That is so awful of people.

  • @flamingo86 - ((hugs))
I am so excited about your new house! I think I may know the country you are interested in as we were for a bit before we started doing more research. DH read about DIA, so we are fully there now.
I am so sorry about people and their nasty comments. You've been through so much, and the last thing you need is that. I give you permission to punch them in the throat.
TTC #1 since Feb. '12. dx: "unexplained" IF
After 2 shitty IVF cycles and 1 loss at 6+2 (EDD 11/7/14), DH and I are pursuing DIA.
    11/17/2014 - ACTIVE AND WAITING!
