  • @luckyangel07 nothing is weird when your pregnant. you could be experiencing RLP or it could just be pressure in general
  • Worst part of week-I am just getting really overwhelmed spending 24/7 with her. I try to stay patient and calm but I feel like I am slowly losing my mind. And then I feel incredibly guilty for feeling that way. Luckily we decided I should get a job for more income before I started feeling this way so hoping one if my applications leads somewhere.

I can so sympathize with this! I felt super guilty towards the end of my maternity leave, because I was really looking forward to getting back to work. But I try to count myself as one of the lucky ones who really enjoys her job, and feel like it does give me a good balance in my "mom" and "woman" identities :)

  • How are you feeling?  I'm not sure if I have a cold or allergies, but I have such a stuffy nose that not even blowing it makes it better. I feel fine everywhere else though. It just sucks that I don't know what I can take to make it better without hurting my blood count.

My allergies have been awful! I've found taking a benadryl and sleeping with a humidifier on my nightstand to be really helpful during the night. Have finally gotten some relief. Hope you feel better!

  • @smbenevides1989 - Have you considered pregnancy rhinitis? I had it and was basically congested from 16 weeks until the day Colin was born.

For allergies, my Ob said I could take Allegra (Claritin was okay once in second tri). For colds, I used saline, steam and a lot of sleep. Feel better!

  • @saraeric I am so jealous you only have 17.5 days left! We have 29 days left which will take me up to about 38 weeks pregnant. I am so ready to be done already that I don't know if I am going to make it!

I agree. It could all just be pregnancy related. I was congested and had so much nasal and sinus weirdness. I only just noticed the other day how immediately it all went away after having DP.

  • @saraeric

Thanks for the suggestions. It's starting to get better; I can finally breathe some. I really don't think its pregnancy related since my dad had it and now my daughter is currently going through it. I will have to keep an eye on it and try the humidifier and sleep a little more. If it does't go away by Monday, I will have to ask both my doctors what will be best to use. I can't use anything that has acetaminophen because it thins my blood and that is bad news for my ITP. It just sucks that I can't get any relief without it either hurting me or hurting bean.

LOs will be six months next week! Best part of the week was DS's belly laughs. Best sound ever. Worst part was huge spit ups (still going on) and major fussing. Also, I swear that my kids smile but they seem to stop when they're having pics taken. But they say "thank you @caseyandlizzie for our PB&J onesies! We look so cute together!"
    Sooooo cute!
