Have you started it yet? No
If so, how are you liking it so far? N/A
If not, are you interested in it? Do you plan to actually read it? It's not something I'd chosen for myself, as I like to stay away from series unless this board says they are absolutely amazing and even then sometimes I put them off (outlander is still on my TBR list)...I just got it from the library though and should start it this week after I finish a book for my IRL book club.
**What are your likes and dislikes about this whole reading lottery? Do you think this is something fun we should do every now and then? I was surprised by the amount of books recommended I'd never heard of before. Fun to participate after not for so long...

I absolutely love this idea! Being newish here, it's kind of intimidating jumping in and this is a great icebreaker for me. It's something I can participate in without the huge commitment to the SBC that I don't think I'm ready for yet.

If so, how are you liking it so far? Is this something you would have picked up on your own? I probably never would have picked this up on my own. **What are your likes and dislikes about this whole reading lottery? Do you think this is something fun we should do every now and then? I think it's a great idea. I find myself getting caught up with all of the "new" books and it makes it easy to miss something good that went under the radar or from the time before I was reading all the time. I think personal recommendations are the best way to find new books.
What book did you end up with? Reconstructing Amelia
Have you started it yet? I finished it on Friday.
If so, how are you liking it so far? Is this something you would have picked up on your own? I loved it. I do think i probably would've picked it up on my own if it was on my radar. I actually hadn't heard of it though before it was assigned to me, so I'm glad that that put it on my radar sooner than it might have if I hadn't participated in the lottery. I thought it was a great book, and I really enjoyed it. I honestly couldn't put it down.
If not, are you interested in it? Do you plan to actually read it?
**What are your likes and dislikes about this whole reading lottery? Do you think this is something fun we should do every now and then? I love that it sort of challenges us in our traditional comfort zone. I would definitely be interested in doing it again.

"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”
