Wedding gifts that you haven't used

I saw this post on another board and it was a fun read.  Do you have items that you registered for that you have never used?  What about gifts that you didn't register for but got anyway and don't use?

What gift do you use the most?

  • I never use my melon baller that I got.

The thing I use the most is probably our fiesta ware.

  • I think we use everything we registered for...

  • Oh man, you're gonna make me really use my brain and think back that far?! Thankfully, after 9 years of marriage, most of the stuff we didn't register for/use we got rid of long ago.

Didn't register for any mixing bowls because I owned some and DH owned some, but we got I think 6 or 7 sets. It was ridic.

I think we use/used everything that we registered for. We didn't go crazy with the registry.

Most used: pans, cups, and iced tea maker.  We've already replaced a lot of the stuff we originally registered for... silverware, sheets, towels, etc..

In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

  • I haven't used my fine china yet, but it's in a curio cabinet and I still love it.

I have a set of pots and pans I've yet to use, but I'll start using them when we remodel our kitchen. My uncle ended up buying us a set we didn't register for, so we've been using that set for the last three years.

We got a king shortly after our wedding, so our guests who use our queen size bed sleep in REALLY nice sheets. I don't want to pay to get a really nice king set, but I should.
I guess that's what we don't use personally, queen size sheets.

I think we returned anything we registered for but didn't end up using. Sheets and towels get used the most. We received a handmade wall hanging that said "B+C" (actual names though, not initials). C is a nickname I don't really go by, and DH's name is not B....so yeah, we did not use that as decoration.
