How many bathrooms are in your house?

Re: How many bathrooms are in your house?

  • 1.5. Full bathroom upstairs and a toilet and sink in a space the size of a closet in the basement. Seriously there isn't even room for a mirror in there.

  • Two, but we both use the master bath.

DH is pretty clean. He shaves in the shower (maybe once a week because he barely grows hair) and brushes his teeth in there. Only thing he forgets to do is pick up his clothes off the floor, but nbd.

  • The house we rented before we bought only had one bath and I hated it. When we were house-hunting, I insisted on there being at least 1.5 baths. We wound up with 2.5. Given the fact that we've had some unexpected bathroom remodeling come up in both full bathrooms that put things out of commission for awhile, I'm so, so glad we wound up with 2.5 bathrooms.

  • We have 2 bathrooms. It started out as his/hers, but somehow DH started using 'my' bathroom all the time.
  • Two, and I refuse to share mine with my smelly husband.

  • Our old house (we are building and living with my folks right now) had 2.5. Master, guest bath inside another bedroom  and half bath in the hallway. But for some unknown reason my kid walked past 2 perfectly good toilets to use ours. All the time! He also used our shower when there was again, a perfectly good shower in his bedroom!

But that master bathroom was stupid big so we could all fit comfortably as long as no one was using the toilet. That would get a little weird.

  • I loved the fact that when we were renting our first house, that it had two very small bathrooms that DH and I each took separately. It was amazing having separate bathrooms. I was concerned when we moved into this house with the double vanity, not bc it's not big enough, but bc that privacy you get with his and hers bathrooms helps keep things in perspective :-)
