I've handed Tony Romo a bottle of water at a charity event (and said in a really high pitched voice 'would you like a bottle of water Tony Romo?) Lunched next to Jessica Simpson and Tony at a bar.

Those are the only ones I can think of offhand.

I hugged Ryan Seacrest, but that wasn't necessarily out of the blue because I was auditioning for American Idol at the time.

I've also met a couple of Miss Americas through work.

The only one I have picture evidence of is me and DH meeting Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert at an event they did here:

My XH and I met R. Lee Ermey (Full Metal Jacket) at the airport. My X was in the Army and R. Lee Ermey struck up conversation about military stuff with him. He was a really nice guy.

My aunt just met Jared Padalecki at the airport last week. So jealous!

I met Emeril Lagasse at Sam's Club. He was very sweet.

I met Duff Goldblum and Ted Allen in AC. Ted Allen is amazing, I want to be his BFF. Duff was very full of himself and it really turned me off to ever thinking highly of him again.

I met Jeff Gordon at a race. I knew he was short, but never realized how short! Considering how many people were around, he was very personable and friendly.

I've brushed by a few others in NYC, but I can't think of names off the top of my head right now.

Oh, I have a lot, which is kind of funny since I am the person least impressed by celebrities.

Pauly Shore hit on me at a club in Boston. I recoiled in horror.

Dennis Leary literally bumped in to me while walking down a NYC street one night. He didn't apologize.

I saw Hank Azaria carrying his laundry bag on the Upper West Side.

I met Lawrence Taylor at a Hard Rock in Florida when I was younger.

I was a taping of Live with Regis and Kelly a long time ago. I remember that Halle Berry was a guest.

On vacation in Cabo, Michael Clarke Duncan always sat in the beach chairs next to us.

I was on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and John Henson was the "celebrity" guest host.

I've seen lots of soap stars in NYC over the years - both Todd Mannings and Blair Kramer come to mind.

@mrsvedo, that would have been a meeting I would have been excited about!!

I said hi to Justin Timberlake at one of his concerts. I worked at the arena at the time
Met John Travolta and Paula Abdul outside of Letterman.
Passed Richie Sambora, Lauren Conrad, and Miranda Lambert at the derby.
I talked with Kurt Herbstreit two years in a row at the Derby (not a big fan of him since those experiences).
Several University of Kentucky basketball players.
An idiot from The Real World when I was in college.
Ashley Judd at a UK game.

I rode an elevator once with Jeff Martin, lead singer of The Teat Party (Canadian Band).

I've met a number of Canadian politicians, including past and present Prime Ministers as well as the Governor General of Canada.

I shook Will Smith's hand once. I met David Ortiz and played poker with him. I met the entire Simple Plan band. Dustin Pedroia winked at me once. I met Randy from Real World: San Diego at a club in Montreal. Wayne Newton was on my plane once.

That's about it, but it's actually a lot!

I got married at the Brownstone (Real Housewives of NJ), so I saw Carolyn and the kids a few times. Al was our go to guy for everything. He tried to get Carolyn to come to our wedding but she was out of town for the weekend. That's all I got.

@pinkinprovence - Dennis Leary was the guest when I went to the Letterman show about 13 years ago. He was a HUGE jerk to the audience. I can't stand the man and I'm not surprised he didn't apologize to you

Y'all probably don't know a lot of mine, but here ya go...

I've met the Duggars and they were all so incredibly sweet

Literally ran into and almost knocked over Ben Stein.. he was so gracious about it.

I've met/talked to and sometimes hung out with a lot of musicians that are considered famous in folk/appalachian music -Nickel Creek, John McCutcheon, Dixie Chicks before they were famous, Allison Krauss, Bill Spence, Bing Futch.. I could go on and on and on but y'all probably wouldn't know who I was talking about even though they're famous in my circle lol

My dad is also "famous" according to wikipedia.

I've spent quite a bit of time around Jay Novacek (former Dallas Cowboy) - he's former family.

I went to Letterman and Leno but don't know if those would count as brushes with fame. Dennis Leary was one guest and Arnold Schwarzenegger was the other guest.

I feel like I'm forgetting someone big, but I can't think of who. Oh well.

My ex was a DJ on a top 40 radio station, so I met quite a few artists over the 5 years we dated (1999-2004, sooo.. Ricky Martin, etc.)

My favorite will always be Jenna von Oy (Six from Blossom). We were bridesmaids together in a very entertaining wedding. We kept in touch for a couple of years before life got in the way. Love her.

I reached for the same animal towel thing as Matthew Broderick a few years ago. But I didn't realize it was him until we had walked away.

For the most part, that's how it works for me. Someone has to tell me who I Just saw/walked by/walked into.

Met George W Bush while he was president. Awesome, awesome man!

Helped a friend who was the opening act for Kenny Chesney near our town. He's a cocky asshole. Plain and simple. The night ended with me telling him that he's just a pretty face and voice, but has no manners. He flipped me off.

Had drinks with the band 30 Seconds to Mars in a pub in London before they were famous. They kept saying their goal was to be known all around the world someday. We cheered our drinks to it and I didn't think to get their autographs. :-( Heck, every band wants to be famous.

Met Aaron Carter while stalking the BSB tour bus 2 years ago. He put his arm around my friend and got mad that she didn't swoon over him. He's pretty cocky too, but we were also asking him to get his brother for us instead.

Steve Wilkos from Jerry Springer signed my boobs.

Oh I forgot about Carrie Underwood. We were on the same elevator in Boston and I was looking at her shoes that were about two sizes small for her feet and after somebody told me who it was.

I used to work in a clothing store in NYC, Barbara Waletrs and Jamie Lee Curtis were our regular customers. Nicky Hilton came in once.

Our work Holiday Party is always held at The Brownstone (RHONJ). Albert Manzo stopped by during our last party.
